5. Setup

5.1 Connecting the Power

  1. Connect the small end of the USB power cable to the blacklight unit.
  2. Plug the USB-A end of the cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter, power bank).

5.2 Mounting Options

The blacklight offers two primary mounting methods:

  • Screw Mounting: Use the provided mounting clips and screws to attach the light securely to a wall, ceiling, or furniture.
  • Adhesive Mounting: For temporary or less permanent installations, use the included double-sided adhesive tape. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying the tape.

5.3 Important Note: Do Not Link Units

This product is designed for individual use. Do not attempt to connect two or more blacklight units together. Doing so may cause damage to the devices or pose a safety risk.

6. Operation

Once the blacklight is connected to a power source, use the integrated push-button switch on the USB cable to turn the light ON or OFF. The light will emit a bright purple UV-A light, which causes fluorescent materials to glow.
