Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help preserve the clarity and functionality of your headlight assembly.
- Cleaning: Clean the outer lens regularly with a soft cloth and mild automotive soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that can damage the UV coating.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the headlight assembly for any signs of damage, cracks, or loose connections.
- Bulb Replacement: If a bulb fails, replace it with the correct type (H9 for high beam, H11 for low beam). Ensure the vehicle's power is off before replacing bulbs.
How to Fix Lens Fog:
ADCARLIGHTS headlight units have a vent to help prevent condensation buildup. A common cause of minor condensation is a blocked vent. This could be caused by debris, spider webs, or dust. To address this:
- Carefully wipe the vent or blow it out with compressed air.
- Turn on the low beam light for 20 minutes.
- You can also use a silica gel pack to soak up any remaining moisture.
