Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the HCDZ Replacement Remote Control, designed for use with specific TECTRO Portable Air Conditioner models. This remote control offers a straightforward solution for operating your air conditioner without complex setup procedures.

Compatible Models: TECTRO TS 625, TECTRO TS632, TECTRO TSCS625, TECTRO TSCS632.

Note: This replacement remote operates exclusively in Celsius and cannot be switched to Fahrenheit.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Gently slide the battery cover downwards or outwards to open it.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery cover by sliding it back into position until it clicks securely.

2. Initial Use

No programming is required for this replacement remote control. Once fresh batteries are correctly installed, the remote will be ready for immediate use with your compatible TECTRO Portable Air Conditioner.

Operating Instructions

To operate your TECTRO Portable Air Conditioner using the HCDZ Replacement Remote Control, point the remote directly at the air conditioner's infrared receiver and press the desired function button. The maximum effective range for operation is approximately 8 meters.

Familiarize yourself with the buttons on the remote control. Each button corresponds to a specific function on your air conditioner, such as Power On/Off, Temperature Adjustment, Mode Selection, Fan Speed, etc. Refer to your air conditioner's original manual for specific function details if needed.

Maintenance

• Storage: Do not leave the remote control in extremely hot or humid environments, as this can damage internal components.
• Battery Usage: Avoid mixing new batteries with old ones. Always replace all batteries with fresh ones simultaneously.
• Sensor Protection: Do not expose the remote control's infrared sensor to direct sunlight or strong lighting apparatuses. This can interfere with its operation and cause malfunctions.

Troubleshooting

Remote Control Not Responding:

• Check Batteries: Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity (+/-).
• Replace Batteries: If the batteries are old or depleted, replace them with two fresh AAA batteries.
• Obstruction: Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the air conditioner's receiver.
• Range: Confirm you are within the effective operating range (approximately 8 meters) and pointing the remote directly at the air conditioner.
• Sensor Interference: Move away from strong light sources that might interfere with the infrared signal.
