1. Introduction

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Charging the Printer

Before initial use, fully charge the printer. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the printer's charging port and a compatible USB power source. The power indicator light will show charging status.

3.2 Loading Thermal Paper

  1. Open the printer cover by gently sliding it open.
  2. Insert a roll of thermal paper into the paper compartment. Ensure the paper feeds smoothly and the arc part of the paper holder faces down.
  3. Close the printer cover securely.

3.3 App Installation and Bluetooth Connection

To operate the printer, you need to install the 'iprint' application on your smartphone.

  1. Download the App: Search for 'iprint' in the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android) and install it.
  2. Power On Printer: Press and hold the printer's POWER/SET button for more than 3 seconds. The indicator light will turn green.
  3. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  4. Connect in App: Open the 'iprint' app. Navigate to 'My' > 'My Devices'. Search for your printer's Bluetooth device (e.g., 'GBXX-XXXX'). If a small blue circle appears next to the device name, the pairing is successful.

4. Operating Instructions

Once connected, you can use the 'iprint' app to create and print various content.

  1. Select Function: Within the 'iprint' app, choose from options like 'Picture Print', 'Text Scan', 'New Slip', 'Todo', 'Banner', 'Sticky Note', 'Document', or 'Notes'.
  2. Create/Edit Content: Use the app's interface to create or edit your desired content. The app provides various templates and materials for different themes.
  3. Print: After finalizing your content, select the print option within the app. The printer will produce a black and white thermal print.

The printer uses thermal technology, meaning no ink cartridges are required. It prints in monochrome (black and white).

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Print Head

To maintain optimal print quality, periodically clean the print head. Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Gently wipe the print head surface. Ensure the printer is turned off and completely dry before use.

5.2 Replacing Paper Rolls

When the paper roll is depleted, replace it with a new 57mm (width) x 30mm (roll diameter) thermal paper roll. Follow the steps outlined in Section 3.2 for loading paper.

6. Troubleshooting
