Setup Instructions

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the fixture and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
  2. Power Connection:
    • For continuous operation or charging, connect the supplied power cable to the POWER IN port and a suitable AC power outlet (AC100-240V; 50-60Hz).
    • Ensure the POWER switch is in the "ON" position.
    • To charge the battery, ensure the CHARGE switch is in the "ON" position. The fixture can be charged while in use.
  3. Battery Operation: To operate solely on battery power, ensure the BATTERY switch is in the "ON" position and the power cable is disconnected or the POWER switch is off.
  4. Mounting: The triangular design allows for placement inside truss legs. Use the 10mm thread for C-clamp mounting if desired. Ensure the fixture is securely mounted to prevent accidental falls.
  5. Initial Power On: Once connected to power or using battery, turn on the POWER switch. The LED display will illuminate.

Operating Modes

The TrussPar Quad 3 GO offers several operating modes, accessible via the on-board menu display or the included IR remote.

1. Manual Control (On-board Menu)

Use the MENU, UP, DN, and ENTER buttons to navigate through the display options. You can adjust settings such as DMX address, operating mode, color mixing, and strobe speed.

3. DMX 512 Control

For advanced control, connect the fixture to a DMX controller using 3-pin XLR cables. Set the DMX address and channel mode (5 or 9 channels) via the on-board menu. Refer to the DMX Channel Chart in the Specifications section for detailed channel assignments.

4. Master/Slave Mode

Link multiple TrussPar Quad 3 GO fixtures together. Set one unit as the "Master" and others as "Slave" units. The slave units will mirror the master's operation, allowing for synchronized lighting effects without a DMX controller.

5. Auto Mode

The fixture has several built-in automatic programs, including fade and chase effects. Select "Auto" mode from the menu and choose your desired program.

6. Sound to Dimmer Mode

In this unique mode, the fixture's digital dimmer responds to the beat of the music, creating dynamic lighting synchronized with audio. Select "Sound to Dimmer" from the menu to activate.
