Instruction Manual
1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360 RGB TR4 Edition All-in-One (AIO) Liquid CPU Cooler. This product is designed to provide efficient and quiet cooling for your high-performance CPU, especially those utilizing the TR4 socket. This manual provides essential information for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of your new liquid cooler to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and keep it for future reference.
2. Safety Information
- Always disconnect power from your computer before installing or servicing any components.
- Handle components with care to avoid damage. Avoid touching the cold plate surface directly.
- Ensure proper grounding to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage.
- Do not open the liquid cooler unit. It contains non-serviceable parts and liquid coolant. Opening it will void the warranty.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- If any liquid leakage is observed, immediately power off your system and contact Cooler Master support.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present in your package:
- MasterLiquid ML360 RGB TR4 AIO Cooler (Radiator with integrated pump and tubing)
- 3 x 120mm RGB Fans
- TR4 Mounting Hardware Kit
- RGB Controller (if included with your specific model)
- Fan and RGB Splitter Cables
- Thermal Paste (pre-applied or in a tube)
- User Manual (this document)
4. Setup and Installation
This section outlines the general steps for installing the MasterLiquid ML360 RGB TR4 Edition. Specific steps may vary slightly depending on your PC case and motherboard.
4.1 Prepare Your System
- Power off your computer and disconnect all cables.
- Open your PC case to access the motherboard and CPU area.
- If replacing an existing cooler, carefully remove it and clean any old thermal paste from the CPU IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader).
4.2 Radiator and Fan Installation
Identify a suitable mounting location for the 360mm radiator in your PC case. Common locations include the top or front panel.

Figure 4.2.1: The Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360 RGB TR4 Edition AIO Liquid Cooler, showing the 360mm radiator with three fans and the RGB pump block.
- Attach the three 120mm RGB fans to the radiator using the provided screws. Ensure the fan airflow direction is appropriate for your case's cooling strategy (intake or exhaust).
- Mount the radiator assembly into your chosen location in the PC case using the appropriate screws.
4.3 Pump Block Installation (TR4 Socket)
The ML360 TR4 Edition is specifically designed for AMD TR4 sockets. Ensure your CPU is properly seated in the socket.

Figure 4.3.1: The MasterLiquid ML360 RGB TR4 Edition pump block installed on a CPU within a PC case, showcasing its RGB lighting.
- If thermal paste is not pre-applied, apply a small pea-sized amount to the center of the CPU IHS.
- Carefully align the pump block with the TR4 mounting holes on your motherboard.
- Secure the pump block to the motherboard using the TR4 mounting hardware. Tighten screws in a diagonal pattern until snug, but do not overtighten.
4.4 Cable Management and Connections

Figure 4.4.1: Another perspective of the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360 RGB TR4 Edition, highlighting the radiator, fans, and pump block connections.
- Connect the pump's 3-pin or 4-pin power cable to the CPU_FAN or AIO_PUMP header on your motherboard. Ensure it receives full power (often set to 100% in BIOS).
- Connect the RGB cables from the fans and pump to the included RGB controller or directly to your motherboard's RGB header, following your motherboard's manual.
- Connect the fan power cables to the fan headers on your motherboard or to the included fan splitter cable, then to a motherboard fan header.
- Organize cables neatly to improve airflow and aesthetics.
5. Operating Instructions
Once installed, the MasterLiquid ML360 RGB TR4 Edition operates automatically based on your system's cooling needs and BIOS settings.
- Initial Boot: After installation, power on your system. Monitor CPU temperatures using monitoring software to ensure proper function.
- BIOS/UEFI Settings: Access your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI to ensure the CPU_FAN or AIO_PUMP header is set to deliver full power to the pump. Fan curves for the radiator fans can be adjusted here for optimal balance between cooling performance and noise levels.
- RGB Control: If connected to a motherboard RGB header, use your motherboard's RGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion) to customize the lighting effects. If using the included RGB controller, refer to its specific instructions for mode and color selection.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your liquid cooler.
- Dust Removal: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months), use compressed air to clean dust from the radiator fins and fan blades. Ensure fans are not spinning rapidly during cleaning to prevent damage.
- Visual Inspection: Check tubing for any signs of kinks, leaks, or damage. Ensure all cable connections are secure.
- Pump Noise: A slight hum from the pump is normal. Excessive noise or gurgling might indicate air bubbles. Gently tilt your PC case while running to help dislodge air bubbles. If noise persists, consult troubleshooting.
- Thermal Paste: The thermal paste typically lasts for several years. Reapplication is generally not needed unless the cooler is removed from the CPU.
