3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, ensure the siren's internal battery is fully charged. Connect the provided power adapter to the siren's external power interface and a power outlet. Allow several hours for a full charge. The solar panel will maintain the charge during operation.
3.2 Siren Mounting
- Select a location for the siren that receives ample direct sunlight throughout the day for optimal solar charging. Ensure it is also within wireless range of your sensors and remote controls.
- Use the provided mounting bracket and screws to securely attach the siren to a wall or suitable surface.
- Ensure the siren is mounted firmly to prevent accidental removal, which could trigger the tamper alarm.

Figure 3.2.1: Siren Installation Guide. This image illustrates the recommended method for mounting the solar siren on a wall, emphasizing placement in direct sunlight.
3.3 Sensor Installation (PIR Motion Detector HW-06A)
- Install two AA batteries (3V DC) into the PIR motion detector. The sliding battery cover facilitates easy replacement.
- Mount the detector in an area where it can cover the desired detection zone, typically in a corner or on a wall, ensuring a clear line of sight.
- Use the universal mounting bracket to adjust the angle for optimal coverage (Horizontal: 110°, Vertical: 60°).
- Ensure the detector is connected to the siren system (refer to pairing instructions in Section 4.1).

3.4 Sensor Installation (Door/Window Contact Detector MC-06A)
- The MC-06A sensor comes with a pre-installed 3V CR2450 lithium battery.
- Mount the main part of the sensor on the door or window frame and the magnetic part on the moving door or window.
- Ensure the two parts are aligned and within 1-2 cm of each other when the door/window is closed.
- The push-pull design facilitates easy installation.
- Ensure the detector is connected to the siren system (refer to pairing instructions in Section 4.1).

4. Operating Instructions
The siren system is designed for straightforward operation. The code has been factory-verified for immediate use after installation.
4.1 Pairing Sensors and Remote Controls
The siren supports a maximum of 90 wireless alarm zones and 8 remote controls. Refer to the siren's menu settings for specific pairing procedures. Generally, this involves putting the siren into a learning mode and then triggering the sensor or pressing a button on the remote control.
4.2 Arming and Disarming the System
Use the remote control (YK-11) to arm or disarm the system. Press the arm key on the remote controller to activate the alarm system. When armed, the siren will be ready to detect intrusions. Press the disarm key to deactivate the system.

Figure 4.2.1: System Protection Overview. This image demonstrates how the siren system functions, including PIR motion detection, door sensor alerts, and the use of remote controls for system management.
4.3 Alarm Triggering
When an armed sensor (PIR motion detector, door/window sensor, or other connected accessory) is triggered, the siren will emit a 110 dB alarm. This loud sound is designed to deter intruders and alert occupants.
4.4 Tamper Alarm Function
The siren is equipped with an anti-dismantling alarm. If an intruder attempts to remove the solar alarm unit from its mounting, the siren will immediately activate to alert you.
4.5 Advanced Configuration (DIY Zones)
The system supports various defensive zone attributes, including 24-hour defensive zones and common defensive zones. You can configure these settings via the siren's menu. For enhanced coverage, multiple sirens can be programmed to the same sensor. If one sensor is triggered, all linked sirens will activate simultaneously.

Figure 4.5.1: Multiple Siren Configuration. This image illustrates how a single sensor can trigger multiple siren units, allowing for broader sound coverage in larger areas.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Management
- Siren Battery: The integrated lithium-polymer battery (18650, 3.7V/2200mAh) is charged by the solar panel. Ensure the solar panel is kept clean and free from obstructions (e.g., dirt, leaves) to maximize charging efficiency. The battery provides backup power during cloudy weather or power outages.
- PIR Detector Batteries: The HW-06A uses two AA batteries. These are designed for over 1 year of continuous operation. Replace them when the low battery indicator appears. The sliding battery cover makes replacement easy.
- Door/Window Sensor Battery: The MC-06A uses a 3V CR2450 lithium battery with a long standby time. Replace when necessary.
- Remote Control Battery: The YK-11 remote control operates on 9V-12V. Replace the internal battery when its performance degrades.
5.2 Cleaning
Wipe the siren and sensors with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the unit's surface or internal components.
5.3 Environmental Considerations
The siren is designed to be waterproof and weather-resistant. However, extreme weather conditions may affect performance. Ensure proper installation to prevent water ingress.
6. Troubleshooting
- Siren not sounding:
- Check if the system is armed.
- Verify that the sensor triggering the alarm is properly paired and has sufficient battery power.
- Ensure the siren's internal battery is charged.
- False alarms:
- Adjust the sensitivity or placement of PIR motion detectors to avoid triggering by pets or environmental factors (e.g., moving curtains, direct sunlight).
- Ensure door/window sensors are securely mounted and the magnetic gap is correct.
- Remote control not working:
- Check the remote control's battery.
- Ensure you are within the operating range (80m-100m).
- Re-pair the remote control with the siren if necessary.
- Siren not charging via solar panel:
- Ensure the solar panel is clean and free from obstructions.
- Verify the siren is installed in a location with adequate direct sunlight.
- Tamper alarm triggers unexpectedly:
- Ensure the siren is securely mounted and not subject to vibrations or movement.
