This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your DGODRT 4-Port 4K HDMI KVM Switch. This device allows you to control up to four computers using a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse, along with two additional USB 2.0 devices. 3.1. Device Layout

  1. 4x HDMI In: Connects to the HDMI output of your computers (PC1, PC2, PC3, PC4).
  2. 4x Indicator Lights: LEDs illuminate to show which computer port is currently active.
  3. 4x Switch Buttons: Press to manually switch between connected computers.
  4. HDMI Output: Connects to your monitor or display.
  5. Micro Key: Port for connecting the wired remote control.
  6. 3x USB Output (USB Out 1, 2, 3): Connects to your USB peripheral devices (keyboard, mouse, printer, etc.).

4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to properly set up your DGODRT 4-Port HDMI KVM Switch:

  1. Power Off All Devices: Ensure all computers and your monitor are powered off before beginning the connection process.
  2. Connect Monitor: Connect your HDMI monitor to the HDMI OUT port on the KVM switch using an HDMI cable (not included).
  3. Connect USB Peripherals: Connect your USB keyboard, mouse, and other USB 2.0 devices (e.g., printer, scanner) to the USB OUT 1, USB OUT 2, and USB OUT 3 ports on the KVM switch.
  4. Connect Computers: For each computer (up to four):
    • Connect one end of the provided 2-in-1 KVM cable (HDMI + USB) to the HDMI output and a USB 2.0 port on your computer.
    • Connect the other end of the KVM cable to an available HDMI IN port (1, 2, 3, or 4) on the KVM switch. Repeat for all computers.

  5. Connect Wired Remote (Optional): If desired, connect the wired remote control to the Micro Key port on the KVM switch.
  6. Power On Devices: Power on your monitor first, then power on your computers. The KVM switch draws power from the connected computers via the USB connections, so no external power adapter is typically needed.

5. Operating Instructions

The DGODRT 4-Port HDMI KVM Switch offers two methods for switching between connected computers:

5.1. Panel Button Switching

Press the numbered buttons (1, 2, 3, or 4) on the front panel of the KVM switch to select the corresponding computer. The LED indicator above the button will illuminate to show the active computer.

5.2. Wired Remote Control Switching

If you have connected the wired remote control, you can use its buttons (1, 2, 3, or 4) to switch between computers. This allows for convenient switching without direct access to the KVM unit.

If you experience problems with your KVM switch, refer to the following common issues and solutions:

  • Try connecting the keyboard/mouse directly to the computer to verify functionality.
  • Some advanced gaming keyboards/mice may require direct connection or specific drivers.
Switching is slow or unresponsive.
  • Computer detection issues.

  • Ensure all devices are connected before powering on computers.
  • Try power cycling the KVM switch and all connected computers.
