1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read and understand all safety instructions before using this electric space heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, property damage, or personal injury. Keep this manual for future reference.

3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Performance Tool W5010 heater:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future transport.

4. Operating Instructions

Your W5010 heater features two control knobs on the top for power and thermostat adjustments.

Power Control Knob (Left Knob):

This knob controls the heater's operating mode.

  • OFF: Turns the heater completely off.
  • FAN: Activates the fan only, circulating air without heat.
  • LOW (750W): Provides low heat output.
  • HIGH (1500W): Provides high heat output.

Thermostat Control Knob (Right Knob):

This knob allows you to set the desired temperature. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain this temperature.

  • Setting the Temperature: Turn the thermostat knob clockwise towards 'HIGH' for warmer temperatures or counter-clockwise towards 'LOW' for cooler temperatures.
  • Initial Use: For initial use, set the Power Control to 'HIGH' and the Thermostat Control to 'HIGH'. Once the room reaches a comfortable temperature, slowly turn the Thermostat Control counter-clockwise until the heater turns off. The heater will then maintain this temperature by cycling on and off.
