5. Insert the unwrapped filter back into the unit.
6. Reattach the bottom cover by twisting it securely into place.

5.2 Placement

Place the air purifier on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of clear space around all sides and above the unit for optimal airflow. Avoid placing it near heat sources, direct sunlight, or in areas with high humidity.

5.3 Power Connection

Connect the power adapter to the power inlet on the back of the air purifier, then plug the adapter into a suitable electrical outlet (240V).

5.4 App Installation and Wi-Fi Pairing

The Duux Bright Smart Air Purifier can be controlled via the free Duux smartphone app. Follow these steps to connect:

1. Download the 'Duux' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Create an account or log in if you already have one.
3. On the air purifier's control panel, press and hold the Wi-Fi button for approximately 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator starts blinking.
4. Follow the in-app instructions to add your device. You may need to enter your Wi-Fi network password.
5. Once connected, the Wi-Fi indicator on the air purifier will become solid.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the Power Button on the control panel or use the app to turn the unit on or off.

6.2 Fan Speed Adjustment

Press the Fan Speed Button repeatedly to cycle through the three fan speeds (1, 2, 3) and Night mode. Speed 1 is the quietest, while Speed 3 provides maximum purification.

6.3 Timer Function

Press the Timer Button to set the operating duration to 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the selected time.

6.4 Auto Mode and Ionizer

Press the Mode Button to activate Auto mode. In Auto mode, the PM2.5 sensor continuously monitors air quality and adjusts the fan speed automatically. Press the Mode Button again to activate the built-in ionizer, which helps to further purify the air by releasing negative ions.

6.5 Air Quality Indicator

The air quality indicator on the control panel changes color to reflect the current air quality detected by the PM2.5 sensor:

• Green: Excellent air quality
• Yellow: Good air quality
• Orange: Moderate air quality
• Red: Poor air quality

6.6 App Control

Once connected to the Duux app, you can remotely control all functions of the air purifier, monitor real-time air quality, and view historical data.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Filter Replacement

The HEPA H13 + active carbon filter should be replaced approximately every 4 to 6 months, depending on usage and air quality. A filter replacement indicator light on the control panel will illuminate when replacement is due.

1. Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
2. Invert the unit and remove the bottom cover.
3. Remove the old filter and dispose of it properly.
4. Insert a new, unwrapped Duux replacement filter (available from Duux retailers).
5. Reattach the bottom cover.
6. Plug in the unit and reset the filter indicator by pressing and holding the appropriate button (refer to the app or control panel for specific instructions).

7.2 Cleaning the Exterior
