Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the air cooler from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport.
- Positioning: Place the air cooler on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 20cm of clear space around the unit for proper airflow.
- Filling the Water Tank:
- Pull out the detachable water tank from the bottom rear of the unit.
- Fill the tank with clean, cool water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line. For enhanced cooling, you may add ice packs (not included) to the water tank.
- Carefully slide the water tank back into the unit until it clicks into place.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
The Mistral MACF7 Air Cooler can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.
Control Panel / Remote Control Functions:
- Power Button: Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
- Speed Selection: Cycle through 4 speeds: High, Mid, Low, and Silent. Adjust according to your cooling preference.
- Mode Selection: Choose from 3 modes: Smart, Natural, and Sleep. Each mode offers a different airflow pattern for varied comfort.
- Oscillation: Activate automatic left and right oscillation to distribute cool air across a wider area.
- Timer: Set the operating time up to 8 hours. The unit will automatically shut off after the set time.
- Ionizer: The built-in ionizer helps to purify the air by releasing negative ions.
Automatic Shut-off: The unit features an automatic shut-off function after 15 hours of continuous usage from the last setting for energy saving and safety.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air cooler.
Cleaning the Water Tank:
- Unplug the air cooler from the power outlet.
- Pull out the detachable water tank.
- Empty any remaining water.
- Clean the tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Allow the tank to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.
Cleaning the HEPA H13 Filter:
The HEPA H13 filter has an efficiency rate of 99.97%. Regular cleaning is recommended to maintain air quality and airflow.
- Refer to the specific instructions in the filter compartment for removal.
- Gently vacuum the filter to remove dust and debris. Do not wash the HEPA filter with water unless specified by the manufacturer.
- Replace the filter as recommended by the manufacturer, typically every 6-12 months depending on usage and air quality.
Honeycomb Filter Drying Function:
This function helps to dry the honeycomb filter to prevent mold and mildew growth. Activate this function periodically, especially before storing the unit.
Exterior Cleaning:
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
