Setup Guide

1. Unpacking and Components

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the following items:

Note: Batteries for both units are not included and must be purchased separately. The main unit requires 2x AA batteries (for backup power), and the outdoor sensor requires 3x AA batteries.

2. Battery Installation

  1. Outdoor Sensor: Open the battery compartment on the back of the outdoor sensor. Insert 3x AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
  2. Main Display Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. Insert 2x AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment. Connect the power adapter to the main unit and plug it into a wall outlet. The unit will power on.

3. Sensor Pairing

The main unit and outdoor sensor should automatically pair within a few minutes of battery installation. Place the sensor near the main unit during initial setup to facilitate pairing. Once connected, the outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the main display.

If pairing fails, press and hold the "CHANNEL" button on the main unit for 3 seconds to initiate a manual search for the sensor. Ensure the sensor is within range and has fresh batteries.

4. Time and Date Setting

The weather station allows for manual time and date setting. Refer to the "Operation" section for detailed instructions on adjusting these settings.

5. Sensor Placement

For accurate outdoor readings, place the wireless sensor in a shaded, well-ventilated area, protected from direct sunlight and precipitation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or reflective surfaces. The maximum wireless transmission range is 328ft (100m) in an open area. Obstacles like walls and electronic devices can reduce this range.
