4. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled star base.
3. Attach Mechanism to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the screw holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with screws using the provided Allen wrench.
4. Attach Backrest to Seat: Connect the backrest to the seat cushion using the designated screws.
5. Attach Headrest: Slide the headrest into the top of the backrest until it is securely in place.
6. Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the center hole of the mechanism plate aligns with the top of the gas lift. Press down firmly to secure.

5. Operating Instructions

• Seat Height Adjustment: Locate the lever on the right side beneath the seat. Pull the lever up to raise the seat. To lower, remain seated and pull the lever up. Release the lever to lock the height.
• Tilt/Rocking Function: The same lever used for height adjustment also controls the tilt. Push the lever inwards to lock the backrest in an upright position. Pull the lever outwards to enable the rocking function.
• Tilt Tension Adjustment: Rotate the round knob located under the front of the seat. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).
• Headrest Adjustment: The headrest can be adjusted vertically to support your neck and head comfortably. Gently push or pull the headrest to your desired height.
• Lumbar Support Adjustment: The lumbar support pillow is movable and can be positioned along the backrest to provide targeted support to your lower back.
• Flip-up Armrests: The armrests can be flipped up 90 degrees, allowing the chair to be stored under a desk to save space.
