Setup and Resetting Your Combination
The default combination for your new Diyife padlock is 0-0-0-0. Follow these steps to set your personal combination:
Step 1: Open the Lock
Ensure the lock is set to the default combination (0-0-0-0) and pull up the shackle to open it.

Step 2: Rotate the Shackle
With the shackle pulled up, rotate it 90 degrees counter-clockwise until it aligns with the code setting gap.

Step 3: Press Down the Shackle
Press the shackle down firmly until the tiny pin is fully inside the gap. Keep it pressed down.
Step 4: Set Your New Combination
While holding the shackle down, rotate the shackle another 90 degrees (total 180 degrees from the initial open position). Now, scroll the number dials to set your desired 4-digit personal combination. Make sure the numbers are clearly aligned.

Step 5: Lock the Combination
Release the shackle, then turn it back to its original open position (90 degrees from the setting position) until it pops up. Your new combination is now set.
Important Tip:
It is highly recommended to write down your new combination and store it in a safe place. Taking a picture of the set combination can also be helpful in case you forget it.

Operating Your Padlock
To Open: Align the dials to your set 4-digit combination. Pull up the shackle to release the lock.
To Close: Insert the shackle back into the lock body. Scramble the dials to a random set of numbers to secure the lock.

Shackle is stiff or difficult to move:
