Setup

Shredding Digital Media

- Prepare Media: For cell phones and mini-tablets, remove batteries prior to shredding to avoid fire hazards.
- Insert Media: Place one item (SSD, cell phone, mini-tablet, flash drive, CD/DVD) into the feed opening.
- Start Shredding: Press the START button. The shredder will automatically detect the item and begin the shredding process.
- Monitor: Observe the shredding process. The machine's automatic jam protection will cycle through forward and reverse if resistance is detected, attempting to clear the item.
- Completion: Once the item is shredded, the machine will stop. Repeat the process for additional items.
Automatic Jam Protection
The shredder is equipped with automatic jam protection. If an item causes excessive resistance, the machine will automatically cycle the cutting cylinders forward and in reverse to attempt to clear the jam. If the jam persists, the shredder will stop, and an indicator light may illuminate. Refer to the Troubleshooting section for manual jam clearing procedures.
Maintenance

- Emptying the Waste Bin: When the "Bin Full" indicator illuminates, or when the bin is visibly full, disconnect the power, open the cabinet door, remove the full shred bag, and replace it with an empty one.
