Care and Maintenance
Water Resistance
Your Armitron Sport watch is water resistant to 330 feet (100 meters). This means it is suitable for swimming and snorkeling. Do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water. Avoid exposing the watch to hot water or steam, as this can compromise the water seals.

This chart explains different levels of water resistance for watches, indicating suitable activities for each depth rating. For this model, 100M (330FT) resistance is suitable for swimming and snorkeling, but not scuba diving.
General Care
- Clean your watch regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using chemical cleaners.
- Avoid extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, and strong magnetic fields.
- Protect the watch from impacts and drops.
Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.

The back of the watch is shown, featuring the stainless steel case back and the attachment points for the resin strap. This area is accessed for battery replacement.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your watch, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable) or that it is not submerged in water. If the issue persists, a battery replacement might be needed.
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time and date following the instructions in the "Setting Time and Date" section. Check if the analog and digital times are synchronized.
- Water inside the watch: Immediately take the watch to a qualified technician for inspection and repair to prevent further damage.
