2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup
Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your vacuum cleaner for use.
- Attach Caster Wheels: Turn the vacuum cleaner tank upside down. Insert the five caster wheels into the designated slots on the base until they click securely into place. Ensure they rotate freely.
- Assemble Suction Tube: Connect the three pieces of the suction tube together by twisting them until they lock. Attach the handle with air regulator to one end of the assembled tube.
- Connect Hose: Insert the flexible suction hose into the suction inlet on the front of the vacuum cleaner unit. Twist to secure. Attach the other end of the hose to the handle with air regulator.
- Install Filter:
- For Dry Vacuuming: Place the pleated paper filter or the standard paper filter over the motor unit inside the tank. Ensure it covers the entire filter cage.
- For Wet Vacuuming: Remove any paper filters. Place the foam filter over the motor unit inside the tank. Ensure it is securely fitted.
- Close Tank: Place the motor unit (lid) onto the tank, aligning the clips. Secure the lid by closing the easy-to-open click fasteners on both sides.
- Insert Battery: Ensure the vacuum cleaner is switched off. Insert a fully charged 20V (4 Ah recommended) PARKSIDE X 20 V Team battery into the battery compartment until it clicks into place.
5. Operating Instructions
This section details how to use your vacuum cleaner for various tasks.
5.1 Dry Vacuuming
- Ensure the paper filter (pleated or standard) is correctly installed.
- Attach the desired nozzle (e.g., floor nozzle for large areas, crevice nozzle for tight spaces) to the suction tube.
- Insert a charged battery.
- Switch the appliance ON using the power switch.
- Guide the nozzle over the dry dirt. Adjust the air regulator on the handle if less suction power is desired.
- After use, switch the appliance OFF and remove the battery.
5.2 Wet Vacuuming
- Ensure the foam filter is correctly installed and any paper filters are removed.
- Attach the floor nozzle or household nozzle.
- Insert a charged battery.
- Switch the appliance ON.
- Guide the nozzle over the liquid. The vacuum cleaner will automatically stop suction when the maximum liquid level is reached.
- After use, switch the appliance OFF, remove the battery, and empty the tank immediately.
5.3 Blower Function
- Remove the suction hose from the suction inlet.
- Insert the suction hose into the blower outlet, usually located on the rear of the motor unit.
- Attach the desired nozzle to the hose.
- Insert a charged battery and switch the appliance ON.
- Direct the airflow to clear debris.
- After use, switch the appliance OFF and remove the battery.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your vacuum cleaner.
- Always remove the battery before performing any cleaning or maintenance.
- Emptying the Tank: After each use, especially wet vacuuming, unclip the motor unit and empty the tank. Rinse the tank with water if necessary and allow it to dry completely.
- Cleaning Filters:
- Paper Filters: Tap out dust from the paper filter. Replace if heavily soiled or damaged. Do not wash paper filters.
- Foam Filter: Rinse the foam filter under running water. Squeeze out excess water and allow it to air dry completely before re-installing.
- Cleaning Accessories: Wash the suction hose, tubes, and nozzles with water and mild detergent if needed. Ensure they are dry before storage.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
