Important Note: This controller is not designed for direct use with Xbox consoles. Its primary function is for Xbox Cloud Gaming on compatible Android devices.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Controller

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

4.2.1 Android Devices (for Mobile & Xbox Cloud Gaming)

  1. Press and hold the X button + Start button for 3 seconds to power on the controller in Android mode. The LED indicator will flash rapidly.
  2. On your Android device, go to Bluetooth Settings.
  3. Select '8Bitdo Sn30 Pro' from the list of available devices to pair.
  4. Once successfully paired, the LED indicator on the controller will become solid.

4.2.2 Apple Devices (iPhone, iPad, macOS, Apple TV)

  1. Press and hold the A button + Start button for 3 seconds to power on the controller in Apple mode. The LED indicator will flash rapidly.
  2. On your Apple device, go to Bluetooth Settings.
  3. Select '8Bitdo Sn30 Pro' from the list of available devices to pair.
  4. Once successfully paired, the LED indicator on the controller will become solid.

4.2.3 Unpairing

To unpair the controller from a device, press and hold the Sync button on the top edge of the controller for 3 seconds. The controller will disconnect and enter pairing mode again.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press the Start button to turn on the controller. It will automatically attempt to connect to the last paired device.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Start button for 3 seconds to turn off the controller.

5.2 Using with Xbox Cloud Gaming (on Android)
