1. Introduction and Overview

Thank you for purchasing the AUNMAS Digital Clock Pen Holder. This multifunctional device combines a digital alarm clock, temperature display, LED night light, and a convenient pen holder, making it an ideal addition to your home or office desk. This manual provides detailed instructions on setting up, operating, and maintaining your device to ensure optimal performance.

3. Package Contents

Note: 2 x AAA batteries are required for operation and are not included in the package.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

The Digital Clock Pen Holder is powered by two AAA batteries. Follow these steps to install them:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the device.
2. Slide or gently pry open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Sound Control (S/C) Switch

On the bottom of the device, next to the battery compartment, you will find an S/C switch. This switch controls the sound activation feature for the display.

• Set the switch to ON to enable sound control. The display will turn off after a short period of inactivity and can be activated by sound (e.g., clapping, tapping the desk).
• Set the switch to OFF to keep the display continuously on.

5. Operating Instructions

The device features five control buttons on the right side of the display: MODE, SET, UP, and DOWN. The SNZ / LIGHT button is typically located on the top or front.

5.1 Setting Time and Date

1. Press the MODE button repeatedly until the display shows the time.
2. Press and hold the SET button until the hour digits begin to flash.
3. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
4. Press SET again to move to the minute digits, then use UP and DOWN to adjust.
5. Continue pressing SET to cycle through and adjust the year, month, and day using the UP and DOWN buttons.
6. Once all settings are correct, press SET one last time or wait a few seconds for the flashing to stop to save the settings.

5.2 Setting Alarm

1. Press the MODE button until the alarm time is displayed (often indicated by an alarm icon).
2. Press and hold the SET button until the alarm hour digits begin to flash.
3. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
4. Press SET again to move to the alarm minute digits, then use UP and DOWN to set the minutes.
5. Press SET one last time or wait for the flashing to stop to confirm the alarm setting.
6. To activate or deactivate the alarm, press the ALARM button (if present) or cycle through modes until the alarm icon appears/disappears.

5.3 Snooze Function and Backlight

When the alarm sounds, press the SNZ / LIGHT button to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a few minutes (default snooze duration). Pressing any other button will turn off the alarm completely until the next set time. The SNZ / LIGHT button also activates the backlight for a few seconds, illuminating the display for easy viewing in low light conditions.

5.4 Temperature Display

The device displays the ambient temperature. To switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉):

• In normal time display mode, press the DOWN button to toggle between ℃ and ℉.

5.5 12/24 Hour Format

To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats:

• In normal time display mode, press the UP button to toggle between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour formats.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface or display.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or functions become erratic. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type (AAA).
• Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage.
