Maintenance
Cleaning the Phone System
Wipe the phone system with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use cleaning sprays or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish or electronic components. Ensure the phone is unplugged from power before cleaning.
Battery Care
To maintain optimal battery life, ensure handsets are placed on their chargers when not in use. As noted in the setup section, an initial 12-hour charge is recommended. If the phone is not used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
Handset Not Charging
If a handset is not charging, first verify that the battery pack is correctly installed and connected inside the handset. Ensure the handset is properly seated in its charger and that the charger's AC adaptor is securely plugged into both the charger and a working power outlet. If the issue persists, try using a different battery pack or charger if available to isolate the problem.
Poor Outgoing Voice Quality
If callers report poor, choppy, or cutting out voice quality from your end, ensure you are within optimal range of the base unit. Check for potential interference from other electronic devices. If using the Bluetooth Connect to Cell feature, ensure your paired cell phone has a strong signal and is placed in an optimal location relative to the base unit.
No Dial Tone
Check that the telephone line cord is securely connected to both the base unit and the wall jack. Ensure the base unit's AC adaptor is properly connected to power. If you have other phones on the same line, check if they have a dial tone. If not, the issue may be with your telephone service provider.
