The BRILONER 3128-015 is a modern LED ceiling light featuring four square LED modules. It offers warm white light at 3000K, a luminous flux of 4000 lumens, and a power consumption of 48 watts. The light is step-dimmable and includes adjustable LED modules for customized illumination.

Safety Instructions

  • Electrical Safety: Installation should only be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local wiring regulations. Always disconnect the main power supply before commencing any installation, maintenance, or repair work.
  • Voltage: Ensure the supply voltage matches the fixture's requirements (240 Volts AC).
  • IP Rating: This product has an IP20 rating, meaning it is protected against solid objects larger than 12.5mm but has no protection against water. It is suitable for indoor use only. Do not install in bathrooms or other areas where it may be exposed to moisture.
  • Heat: Do not cover the fixture with insulating material. Ensure adequate ventilation around the fixture.
  • Cleaning: Only clean the fixture with a dry or slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • LED Modules: The LED modules are fixed and not user-replaceable. Do not attempt to open or modify the LED components.

Setup and Installation

Important: Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Ensure the power supply is disconnected at the main circuit breaker before beginning installation.

  1. Prepare the Installation Area: Choose a suitable location on the ceiling. The fixture dimensions are 750 x 470 x 73 mm (L x W x H).
  2. Mark Drilling Points: Hold the mounting bracket of the light fixture against the ceiling at the desired installation point and mark the drilling holes.
  3. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked positions and insert appropriate wall plugs.
  4. Connect Wiring: Connect the household electrical wires to the terminal block of the light fixture. Ensure correct polarity (Live, Neutral). This fixture does not require an earth connection due to its LED technology and construction.
  5. Mount the Fixture: Secure the light fixture to the ceiling using the provided screws.
  6. Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the main circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

The light is operated using a standard wall light switch. Flip the switch to turn the light on or off.

Step Dimmable Function

This ceiling light features a step-dimmable function, allowing you to adjust the brightness in three stages using your existing wall switch. There is no need for a separate dimmer switch.

  • 1st Switch ON: The light will illuminate at 100% brightness.
  • 2nd Switch ON (within a short period after turning OFF): The light will illuminate at 50% brightness.
  • 3rd Switch ON (within a short period after turning OFF): The light will illuminate at 20% brightness.

To cycle through the dimming levels, quickly turn the light off and then on again. If the light remains off for a longer period, it will typically revert to 100% brightness when turned on again (memory function).

Adjustable LED Modules

The individual LED modules of the ceiling light are orientable, allowing you to adjust the direction of light to suit your room's configuration and desired ambiance. Gently pivot the modules to achieve the desired angle.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Ensure the light is switched off and cooled down before cleaning. Wipe the fixture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the finish or electrical components.
  • LED Lifespan: The integrated LED board has an average lifespan of approximately 20,000 hours. The LEDs are not designed to be replaced by the user.
