1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient installation, operation, and maintenance of your EMKE Multiblock Radiator Valve with Thermostat. Please read these instructions carefully before installation and retain them for future reference.
The EMKE Multiblock Radiator Valve is designed for universal use with radiators featuring a 50 mm central connection and a G 1/2" connection thread. It is suitable for various radiator types, including bathroom radiators.
2. Safety Information
- Installation should only be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with local regulations and standards.
- Ensure the heating system is depressurized and cooled before beginning any installation or maintenance work.
- Use appropriate tools and personal protective equipment during installation.
- Do not overtighten connections, as this can damage threads and seals.
- Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.
3. Product Overview
The EMKE Multiblock Radiator Valve is constructed from high-quality brass, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. Precision-engineered threads, brass safety rings, and heat-resistant rubber seals provide a reliable, leak-proof connection even at high temperatures.

4. Setup and Installation
The integrated design of the valve block accommodates pipes coming from both the wall and the floor. The combined angle and passage design offers versatile installation options, allowing for quick and easy mounting regardless of pipe orientation.
4.1 Connection Compatibility
- The valve connector size is φ16.
- If your water pipe size is φ15, an adapter must be used to ensure a secure and leak-free connection.
4.2 Installation Steps
- Ensure the heating system is completely drained and isolated.
- Position the multiblock valve according to your pipe configuration (wall or floor) and desired thermostat head orientation (left or right).
- Connect the valve to the radiator's central 50 mm connection.
- Connect the G 1/2" pipes to the valve, using adapters if necessary for φ15 pipes.
- Secure all connections firmly, ensuring all seals are correctly seated. Do not overtighten.
- Once installed, slowly refill the heating system and check for any leaks.

5. Operating the Thermostat
The thermostat offers 7 precise adjustment settings for accurate temperature control. The valve block allows the thermostatic head to be connected to either side, providing flexibility for front and rear connections.
5.1 Temperature Settings
Adjust the thermostat head to your desired comfort level. The settings correspond to approximate room temperatures:

| Setting Scale | Target Temperature |
|---|---|
| * (Frost Protection) | 7°C |
| 1 | 12°C |
| 2 | 16°C |
| 3 | 20°C |
| 4 | 24°C |
| 5 | 28°C |
| MAX | 30°C |
6. Maintenance
The EMKE Multiblock Radiator Valve requires minimal maintenance. Regularly check for any signs of leakage or damage. Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Leakage Issues
If you observe any leakage, please check the following common causes:
- Improperly tightened valves: Ensure all connections are tightened securely, but do not overtighten.
- Missing O-rings or seals: Verify that all necessary O-rings and seals are present and correctly seated during installation.
- Incorrect use of PTFE tape: Ensure PTFE tape (if used) is applied correctly and sufficiently to threaded connections.
- Damaged components: Inspect the valve and connections for any visible damage.
If the issue persists after checking these points, please contact customer support.
