Setup and Charging
Initial Charge
It is recommended to fully charge the GBX45 before first use. The unit comes partially charged from the factory. Use the included USB-C charging cable and a compatible USB-C power adapter (not included) to charge the unit. For fastest charging, a 60W USB-C Power Delivery adapter is recommended.

- Connect the small end of the USB-C cable to the USB-C IN/OUT port on the GBX45.
- Connect the large end of the USB-C cable to a USB-C power adapter.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- The charge LEDs on the GBX45 will illuminate, indicating the charging progress. All five charge LEDs will be solid white when fully charged.
Battery Level Indicator
The charge LEDs indicate the internal battery charge level:
- 1 LED: 0-25%
- 2 LEDs: 25-50%
- 3 LEDs: 50-75%
- 4 LEDs: 75-100%
- 5 LEDs: 100% (Fully Charged)
Operating Instructions: Jump Starting a Vehicle
Follow these steps carefully to jump start your vehicle:

- Connect Clamps: Connect the heavy-duty battery clamps to the GBX45. Ensure a secure connection.
- Attach to Battery:
- Connect the RED positive (+) clamp to the positive battery terminal.
- Connect the BLACK negative (-) clamp to the negative battery terminal or a chassis ground point.
The GBX45 features UltraSafe 2.0 technology with spark-proof and reverse polarity protection. If connected incorrectly, the Error LED will illuminate.
- Power On: Press the Power Button on the GBX45. The Power LED will illuminate white. The Boost LED will also illuminate white, indicating it's ready to boost.
- Start Vehicle: Attempt to start your vehicle. Most vehicles will start immediately. If the vehicle does not start, wait 30 seconds and try again. Do not attempt more than five (5) consecutive jump starts within a fifteen (15) minute period.
- Disconnect: Once the vehicle starts, disconnect the battery clamps in reverse order (negative first, then positive).
Manual Override Feature
The GBX45 has a manual override feature for extremely dead batteries where the unit may not detect the battery. Use this feature with extreme caution as safety features are disabled.
- Ensure clamps are correctly connected to the battery.
- Press and hold the Manual Override Button for three (3) seconds. The Boost LED will flash white.
- Attempt to start the vehicle.
- Disconnect clamps immediately after starting.
Charging External Devices (Power Bank Function)
The GBX45 can also function as a portable power bank to charge your USB devices.

- USB-A Output (10W): Connect your USB-A charging cable to the USB OUT port on the GBX45 and to your device.
- USB-C Input/Output (60W): Connect your USB-C charging cable to the USB-C IN/OUT port on the GBX45 and to your device. This port supports faster charging for compatible devices.
The GBX45 will automatically detect and begin charging your connected device. The charge LEDs will indicate the remaining battery level of the GBX45.
Maintenance and Storage
- Charging: For optimal battery life, fully charge the GBX45 every 2-3 months, even if not in use.
- Cleaning: Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the included microfiber storage bag to protect the unit.
- Clamp Care: Keep the battery clamps clean and free of corrosion.
Troubleshooting
