Controls and Ports
Familiarize yourself with the buttons and ports on your Surgeboom 2 speaker:

- Power Button: Press and hold to turn the speaker on or off.
- Volume Up (+): Press to increase volume.
- Volume Down (-): Press to decrease volume.

- TWS Button: Press to initiate True Wireless Stereo pairing.

Setup
Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Use the provided Type-C cable and a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
- Connect the Type-C end of the charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
- Connect the USB-A end of the charging cable to a USB power adapter.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. The speaker is fully charged when the indicator light changes or turns off (refer to specific light behavior in the quick start guide).

Bluetooth Pairing
To connect your SOWO Surgeboom 2 speaker to a Bluetooth-enabled device:
- Ensure the speaker is charged and powered on. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "SOWO Surgeboom 2" from the list of devices.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will become solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
TWS allows you to pair two SOWO Surgeboom 2 speakers together for a stereo audio experience.
- Ensure both Surgeboom 2 speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
- On one of the speakers, press the TWS button. It will emit a sound indicating it's searching for another speaker.
- The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. A confirmation tone will sound once paired.
- Once TWS is established, connect your Bluetooth device to one of the speakers (the primary speaker) as described in the Bluetooth Pairing section.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2 seconds.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2 seconds.
Volume Control
- Increase Volume: Press the '+' button.
- Decrease Volume: Press the '-' button.
Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button once.
- Next Track: Press and hold the '+' button.
- Previous Track: Press and hold the '-' button.
Call Management
When connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth:
- Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button once.
- End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once during a call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds.
RGB Light Control
The speaker features an RGB radiator with various lighting modes.

- Press the Light button to cycle through different light modes.
- Continue pressing the Light button to turn the lights off.
AUX Input Mode
To use the speaker with a wired connection:
- Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) from your audio source to the speaker's AUX input port.
- The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents.
Waterproof and Dustproof Care
The SOWO Surgeboom 2 is IPX7 waterproof and IP67 dustproof, meaning it can be submerged in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes and is protected against dust ingress.

- Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water or dust.
- After exposure to water, especially saltwater or chlorinated water, rinse the speaker with fresh water and allow it to air dry completely before charging or using the ports.
- Avoid prolonged submersion or exposure to high-pressure water jets.
Troubleshooting
- Speaker does not power on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the Type-C cable.
- Cannot pair via Bluetooth:
- Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (Bluetooth indicator flashing).
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- Move the speaker closer to your device.
- Forget the speaker from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
- Restart both the speaker and your device.
- No sound:
- Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device.
- Ensure the speaker is correctly paired via Bluetooth or connected via AUX.
- If using TWS, ensure both speakers are properly paired to each other and then to your device.
- Sound distortion: Reduce the volume on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the audio source quality is good.
- TWS pairing issues: Ensure both speakers are not connected to any other Bluetooth device before initiating TWS pairing. Try resetting both speakers and attempting TWS pairing again.
