Setup Instructions
- Power Connection: Connect the provided 100W AC Power Adapter to the DC Power Input port on the rear of the DX3 docking station, then plug it into a wall outlet.
- Host Connection: Connect the supplied USB-C cable (with USB-A adapter if needed) from the "USB-C to Computer Input" port on the DX3 to your laptop's USB-C or USB-A port.
- DisplayLink Driver Installation: For full functionality, especially for multiple external displays, download and install the latest DisplayLink drivers for your operating system (Windows or macOS) from the official DisplayLink website. Visit DisplayLink Downloads.
- Monitor Connection: Connect your external monitors to the DisplayPort outputs on the rear of the DX3 docking station. Ensure your monitors are powered on. If your monitors use HDMI, you will need DisplayPort to HDMI adapters (not included).

Operating Instructions
Power Delivery
The DX3 docking station provides up to 100W of power delivery to your connected laptop through the USB-C host connection. This allows your laptop to charge while connected to the dock, eliminating the need for a separate laptop charger.

Data Transfer

M1/M2 Mac Compatibility
The DX3 docking station enables dual or triple external display support for M1/M2 Mac devices, overcoming the native limitation of a single external display. Ensure DisplayLink drivers are installed for this functionality.

Maintenance
- Keep the docking station in a dry, well-ventilated area.

Troubleshooting
No Display Output
- Ensure the docking station is powered on and the power LED is illuminated.

- Check monitor cables and ensure they are securely connected to the DisplayPort outputs on the dock and the inputs on your monitors.

Laptop Not Charging
- Ensure the 100W AC power adapter is correctly connected to the dock and a power outlet.

USB Devices Not Recognized
- Ensure the USB devices are properly inserted into the docking station's USB ports.

Issues with Protected Content (Mac)
Some streaming services (e.g., Apple TV+, Prime Video) may block video playback on external monitors when DisplayLink software is active due to screen recording detection.
