2. Setup Guide
2.1 Unboxing
Upon opening the product packaging, you will find the following items:
- Huawei Band 6 Smart Band
- Magnetic Charging Cable
- User Manual (this document)

2.2 Initial Charging
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your Huawei Band 6. The device supports rapid fast charging.
- Connect the magnetic end of the charging cable to the charging contacts on the back of the smart band.
- Plug the USB end of the charging cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The band's screen will display a charging indicator. A full charge provides up to 14 days of typical use or 10 days of heavy use. A 5-minute charge can provide up to 2 days of use.
2.3 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the side button until the Huawei logo appears on the screen.
- To Power Off: Navigate to Settings > System > Power Off on the band's screen and confirm.
2.4 App Installation and Pairing
To unlock the full potential of your Huawei Band 6, download and install the Huawei Health app on your smartphone.
- Scan the QR code in the Quick Start Guide or search for "Huawei Health" in your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).
- Install the app and open it.
- Follow the on-screen instructions in the Huawei Health app to add your Huawei Band 6 and complete the pairing process via Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Display and Navigation
The Huawei Band 6 features a 1.47-inch AMOLED FullView touchscreen display. Navigation is primarily done through touch gestures and the side button.
- Swipe Up/Down: Scroll through menus and notifications.
- Swipe Left/Right: Switch between different feature screens (e.g., Heart Rate, SpO2, Weather).
- Tap: Select an item or confirm an action.
- Side Button: Press to return to the home screen or wake the device.

3.2 Health Monitoring
The Huawei Band 6 offers comprehensive health tracking features:
- SpO2 Monitoring: The band continuously monitors your blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) 24/7. If your SpO2 level falls too low, the band will vibrate to alert you. (Note: This product is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.)
- Heart Rate Monitoring: Utilizing TruSeen 4.0 technology, the band accurately monitors your heart rate 24 hours a day. It provides instant alerts if your heart rate drops below or rises above safe levels.
- TruRelax Stress Monitoring: Track your stress levels throughout the day and receive guidance for relaxation exercises.
- TruSleep 2.0 Sleep Tracking: Monitor your sleep patterns, including deep sleep, light sleep, REM sleep, and awake times, to help improve your sleep quality.
- Female Cycle Tracker: Track your menstrual cycle, predict fertile windows, and record physical conditions.

3.3 Workout Modes
The band supports up to 96 different exercise modes. When engaging in a workout, the band can track your heart rate, calories burned, and other relevant metrics. All data is stored and can be analyzed in the Huawei Health app.

3.4 Smart Features
The Huawei Band 6 integrates several smart features for convenience:
- Notifications: Receive alerts for incoming calls, messages, and app notifications directly on your wrist.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Water Resistance
The Huawei Band 6 has a 5 ATM water resistance rating. This means it can withstand pressures equivalent to a depth of 50 meters for 10 minutes. It is suitable for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean, and for showering. However, it is not suitable for diving, hot showers, saunas, or high-speed water sports.
4.2 Cleaning
To maintain the performance and appearance of your band:
- Wipe the band and screen regularly with a soft, damp cloth.
- Ensure the charging contacts and sensors on the back are clean and dry before charging or wearing.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the device.
4.3 Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures. Charge the device using only the provided magnetic charging cable.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Huawei Band 6, try the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Device Not Powering On: Ensure the band is sufficiently charged. Connect it to the charger for at least 10 minutes.
- Cannot Pair with Phone:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Restart both your smartphone and the Huawei Band 6.
- Make sure the Huawei Health app is updated to the latest version.
- If the issue persists, try unpairing and re-pairing the device through the Huawei Health app.
- Inaccurate Health Readings: Ensure the band is worn snugly on your wrist, about one finger's width above your wrist bone. Clean the sensors on the back of the device.
- Display Not Responding: Try restarting the device by holding the side button. If unresponsive, allow the battery to fully drain and then recharge.
- Charging Issues: Check that the magnetic charging cable is securely connected to both the band and the power source. Ensure the charging contacts are clean.
