Setup
Charging the Speaker
- Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 9V input on the rear panel of the speaker.
- Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. Allow approximately 4-6 hours for a full charge.
- Disconnect the adapter once fully charged or when operating on battery power.
Assembling the Tripod Stand
- Unfold the legs of the tripod stand until they are fully extended and stable.
- Adjust the height of the stand to your desired level, ensuring the locking pin is securely engaged.
- Carefully place the QFX PBX-1206SM speaker onto the top pole of the tripod stand, aligning the mounting hole on the speaker's bottom with the pole.
- Ensure the speaker is stable and securely seated on the stand before operation.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
Rotate the Power/Volume Knob clockwise to turn the speaker on. Rotate counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn off.
Bluetooth Mode
- Turn on the speaker. The speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth mode or can be selected using the Mode button.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone), search for available devices.
- Select "QFX PBX-1206SM" from the list to pair. A confirmation tone will sound upon successful pairing.
- You can now stream audio wirelessly from your device to the speaker.
True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Function
The TWS function allows you to connect two QFX PBX-1206SM speakers for a stereo sound experience.
- Ensure both PBX-1206SM speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode.
- On one of the speakers, press and hold the TWS button (if available, or refer to specific button for TWS pairing). The speaker will search for another PBX-1206SM.
- Once connected, a confirmation tone will sound. The first speaker will act as the master (left channel) and the second as the slave (right channel).
- Connect your Bluetooth device to the master speaker as described in the Bluetooth Mode section.
Note: TWS functionality requires two identical QFX PBX-1206SM units.
USB/MicroSD Card Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive or microSD card (with MP3 audio files) into the respective slot on the rear panel.
- The speaker will automatically switch to USB/MicroSD mode and begin playback. If not, press the Mode button to select.
- Use the Play/Pause, Skip Forward, and Skip Backward buttons to control playback.
FM Radio Mode
- Press the Mode button to switch to FM Radio mode.
- Press the Play/Pause button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
- Use the Skip Forward/Backward buttons to navigate between saved stations.
Auxiliary Input (AUX IN)
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, laptop) to the AUX IN jack using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
- Press the Mode button to select AUX mode.
- Control playback from your connected external device.
Microphone Usage
- Plug the wired microphone into the MIC IN jack on the rear panel.
- Adjust the microphone volume using the MIC.VOL knob.
- Adjust the echo effect using the ECHO knob.
RGB Party Lights
Toggle the LED Switch on the rear panel to turn the integrated RGB party lights on or off.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, fully charge the speaker before first use and recharge it regularly, even if not in use for extended periods. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Water Exposure: This speaker is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to water or excessive moisture.
