2.1 Components

3. Setup

3.1 Attaching the Auxiliary Handle

1. Loosen the auxiliary handle by turning it counter-clockwise.
2. Slide the handle onto the drill's neck to the desired position.
3. Tighten the handle by turning it clockwise until secure.

3.2 Installing a Drill Bit

1. Ensure the drill is unplugged from the power source.
2. Insert the chuck key into one of the holes on the chuck.
3. Turn the chuck key counter-clockwise to open the chuck jaws.
4. Insert the shank of the drill bit into the chuck as far as it will go.
5. Turn the chuck key clockwise to tighten the chuck jaws around the drill bit. Ensure the bit is centered and securely fastened.
6. Remove the chuck key before operating the drill.

3.3 Setting the Depth Stop

1. Loosen the auxiliary handle.
2. Insert the depth stop into the hole on the auxiliary handle.
3. Adjust the depth stop to the desired drilling depth.
4. Tighten the auxiliary handle to secure the depth stop.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power Connection

Connect the drill's power cord to a 220V, 50Hz electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded.

4.2 Selecting Operating Mode

Use the mode selector switch to choose between:

• Drilling Mode (Rotary): For drilling in wood, metal, and plastics.
• Impact Drilling Mode: For drilling in masonry, concrete, and other hard materials.

4.3 Starting and Stopping

• To Start: Press the trigger switch. The drill speed is variable depending on how far the trigger is pressed.
• For Continuous Operation: Press the trigger switch fully, then press the lock-on button. Release the trigger while holding the lock-on button.
• To Stop (from continuous operation): Press the trigger switch again, then release it.
• To Stop (from momentary operation): Release the trigger switch.

4.4 Changing Rotation Direction

Use the forward/reverse switch located near the trigger to change the direction of rotation. Ensure the drill has come to a complete stop before changing direction.

• Forward (Clockwise): For drilling and driving screws.
• Reverse (Counter-clockwise): For removing screws or freeing a jammed drill bit.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your impact drill.

5.1 Cleaning

• Always unplug the tool before cleaning.
• Keep the ventilation openings clean to prevent overheating. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris.
