Operating Instructions
Pairing Bluetooth Devices
To pair a new Bluetooth device with the RTX PRO:
- Ensure the RTX PRO is powered on and in the desired mode (TX or RX).
- Put your Bluetooth headphones or speaker (in TX mode) or your phone/laptop (in RX mode) into pairing mode. Refer to your device's manual for specific instructions.
- The RTX PRO will automatically search for and connect to the nearest available Bluetooth device. Indicator lights on the RTX PRO will confirm a successful connection.
- For dual-link (connecting two headphones), after the first device is paired, put the second device into pairing mode. The RTX PRO will attempt to connect to it.
Mode Selection (TX/RX)
Use the TX/RX switch on the RTX PRO to select the desired operating mode:
- TX (Transmitter) Mode: Transmits audio from the RTX PRO's inputs to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
- RX (Receiver) Mode: Receives audio from a Bluetooth source (e.g., phone) and outputs it through the RTX PRO's audio outputs.
Codec Selection (aptX HD / aptX Low Latency)
The RTX PRO supports both aptX HD for superior audio quality and aptX Low Latency for minimal audio delay. Use the LL/HD switch to prioritize your preferred codec:
- aptX HD: Provides 24-bit "better than CD" sound quality. Ideal for music listening.
- aptX Low Latency: Ensures audio is in sync with video, ideal for watching TV or movies.
Note: For aptX codecs to be active, both the RTX PRO and the connected Bluetooth device must support the selected codec.
