- ERROR: Illuminates or flashes to indicate a printer error (e.g., paper jam, print head overheating).
- PAPER: Illuminates when the paper roll is low or out.
3.3 Feed Button
The 'FEED' button advances the paper by a small amount. This is useful for checking paper alignment or advancing a receipt after printing.
3.4 Printing
After successful driver installation and paper loading, you can initiate printing from your application (e.g., POS software, word processor). Ensure the Xprinter XP-F200N is selected as the default printer or the target printer within your application's print settings.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Print Head
Regular cleaning of the print head ensures optimal print quality and extends the printer's lifespan. Use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Gently wipe the thermal print head (the dark strip inside the printer) after every few paper roll changes or if print quality degrades.
4.2 Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior of the printer with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no liquid enters the printer.
4.3 Paper Roll Replacement
When the 'PAPER' indicator lights up or printing becomes faint, it's time to replace the paper roll. Follow the steps outlined in Section 2.3 for loading thermal paper.
