Setup Instructions
1. Planning Camera Placement
Consider areas requiring surveillance. The cameras are rated IP67 for indoor/outdoor use and have a 90-degree field of view. Ensure the camera's view is unobstructed and covers the desired area. Avoid direct sunlight or strong light sources pointing into the lens.
2. Mounting the Cameras
- Choose a suitable mounting location (wall mount recommended).
- Use the provided mounting screws and plugs to securely attach the camera base to the surface.
- Adjust the camera angle to achieve the desired viewing area.
3. Connecting the Cables
- Connect one end of a 60 ft BNC/Siamese cable to the corresponding BNC and power ports on the camera.
- Route the cable to your Swann DVR (DVR-5580 or DVR-5680).
- Connect the BNC connector to an available video input port on the DVR.
- Connect the power connector from the cable to one of the outputs on the 4-way power splitter.
- Plug the 4-way power splitter into the main power supply, and then plug the power supply into a standard electrical outlet.
- Repeat for all four cameras.
Note: These cameras are specifically designed for use with Swann DVR-5580 and DVR-5680 series DVRs. Compatibility with other DVRs is not guaranteed.

Once all cameras are connected and the DVR is powered on, the cameras will automatically begin transmitting video to the DVR. Refer to your DVR's user manual for instructions on viewing live feeds, recording, and configuring settings.
