Setup and Installation
Engine Signal Connection
The meter detects engine signals by wrapping its signal wire around the spark plug wire. This method is compatible with 13 types of gas engines, including 2-stroke (1/2/3/4/6 cylinders) and 4-stroke (1/2/3/4/5/12/16 cylinders).
- Locate the spark plug wire on your engine.
- Wrap the meter's signal wire around the spark plug wire for approximately 5 turns.
- Secure the wrapped wires with electrical tape or cable ties to ensure a stable connection. The wire length is approximately 68.8 inches (1.75m) and can be shortened or extended as needed.
