4. Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
  2. Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the exterior of the kettle with a damp cloth. Fill the kettle with fresh water up to the MAX mark, boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process twice to ensure cleanliness.
  3. Placement: Place the power base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the appliance's requirements (220 Volts).

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Filling the Kettle: Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark (1.5 Liters). Close the lid securely.
  2. Placing on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto the power base.
  3. Boiling Water: Press the power button located on the handle. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the kettle is heating.
  4. Automatic Shut-off: The kettle will automatically switch off once the water has boiled. The indicator light will turn off.
  5. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from the base and pour the hot water. Be cautious of steam and hot water.
  6. Re-boiling: If the kettle has just boiled, allow a few moments for the internal thermostat to reset before attempting to re-boil.

Limescale buildup can affect performance and taste. Descale your kettle regularly, especially in hard water areas.

  1. Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water, or use a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and then let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer if limescale is heavy.
  3. Pour out the mixture and rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water several times.
  4. If necessary, repeat the process.
  5. The mesh filter can be removed for cleaning if heavily scaled. Rinse it under running water and brush gently if needed. Ensure it is re-inserted correctly.
