3. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the physical features and controls of your Hyperboom speaker.

Controls:
- Power On/Off Button: Located on the top surface.
- Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) Buttons: Located on the top surface.
- One-Touch Music Control Button: For play, pause, and skipping tracks.

4. Setup
4.1. Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge your Hyperboom speaker. Connect the included power adapter to the speaker's power port and then to a wall outlet. The battery indicator will show charging status.
The speaker has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery providing up to 24 hours of battery life.
4.2. Powering On/Off
- To power on, press the Power On/Off button located on the top of the speaker.
- To power off, press and hold the Power On/Off button until the speaker shuts down.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Bluetooth Pairing
The Hyperboom speaker can remember up to 8 paired Bluetooth devices and connect to two simultaneously.
- Power on your Hyperboom speaker.
- Press and hold either the Bluetooth 1 or Bluetooth 2 button on the top of the speaker until you hear an audible cue and the LED indicator flashes. This indicates pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), go to Bluetooth settings and select "Hyperboom" from the list of available devices.
- Once paired, the speaker will confirm with an audible cue, and the LED will glow solid.
To switch between connected devices, simply play audio from the desired device. The speaker will automatically switch.

5.2. Music Control
Control your music directly from the speaker:
- Press the One-Touch Music Control button once to play or pause the current track.
- Press the One-Touch Music Control button twice to skip to the next track.
- Adjust volume using the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons.
You can also set up one-touch playlists for easy music control on supported streaming platforms like Spotify (on Android), Amazon Music (with subscription), Apple Music, and Deezer Premium.
5.3. Adaptive EQ
The Hyperboom features an adaptive equalizer that automatically adjusts the sound profile to optimize audio quality based on the environment. This ensures consistent sound performance whether indoors or outdoors.

5.4. PartyUp Feature
Connect your Hyperboom with other BOOM, MEGABOOM, or HYPERBOOM speakers for an expanded audio experience. Use the BOOM App to activate and manage the PartyUp feature.

5.5. Auxiliary and Optical Input
For wired connections, open the weather door on the side of the speaker to access the Aux In (3.5mm) and Optical input ports.
- Connect your audio device using a 3.5mm auxiliary cable to the Aux In port.
- Connect your audio device using an optical cable to the Optical Input port.
- Press the corresponding Auxiliary or Optical button on the speaker's top panel to select the input source.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Spill and Splash Proof Design
The Hyperboom speaker has an IPX4 water resistance rating, meaning it is protected against splashing water from any direction. This makes it suitable for outdoor use and accidental spills.

After exposure to liquids, ensure the weather door covering the ports is securely closed. Wipe the speaker dry with a clean cloth before charging or using wired connections.
6.2. Cleaning
To clean the speaker, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the finish.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the speaker is charged. Connect the power adapter and try turning it on.
- No Sound:
- Check the volume level on both the speaker and your connected device.
- Ensure the correct input source (Bluetooth, Aux, Optical) is selected.
- Verify that the device is properly paired via Bluetooth or connected via cable.
- Bluetooth Connection Issues:
- Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing Bluetooth LED).
- Disable and re-enable Bluetooth on your device.
- Move your device closer to the speaker (up to 150 ft / 45 m range).
- Forget "Hyperboom" from your device's Bluetooth list and re-pair.
- Poor Sound Quality:
