4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your FCOB COB LED Strip:
4.1 Surface Preparation
Before installation, thoroughly clean and dry the desired installation surface. The strip comes with a strong self-adhesive backing.

4.2 Cutting and Linking
The FCOB COB light strip is flexible and can be cut at designated spots to solder. It supports end-to-end connection in series. Two 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC plugs (one female, one male) are provided on the ends for direct connection or extension.

4.3 Power Connection
The LED strip can be connected directly to a compatible DC12V power supply or through an LED controller for dimming and other functionalities.

Important: The actual power consumption of the 16.4FT FCOB COB LED strip is approximately 28W due to voltage drop, not 70W (14W/m x 5m). Consider this when selecting a power supply.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Operation
Once connected to a power source, the LED strip will illuminate. If using a controller (sold separately), refer to the controller's manual for specific operation instructions.
5.2 Dimming and Color Temperature
The FCOB LED strip is compatible with most dimmers using standard control protocols (ELV, TRIAC, DMX, Dali, 0-10V, RF). This allows for 0-100% smooth dimming. The Natural White 4000K color temperature provides a balanced light suitable for various environments.
