3. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1 Preparing the LED Strip

The FCOB LED strip is flexible and can be cut to your desired length at designated cutting marks. It also supports various connection types for custom installations.

4.2 Mounting the LED Strip

The LED strip features a strong self-adhesive backing for easy installation. Before applying, ensure the installation surface is thoroughly cleaned and dry for optimal adhesion.

4.3 Electrical Connection

The LED strip can be connected directly to a DC24V power supply or integrated with a compatible LED controller for dimming and other functionalities. It comes with 5.5mmx2.1mm DC plugs on both ends (one female, one male) for easy connection and extension.

5. Operating

This FCOB LED strip is Warm White 3000K, providing a cozy and inviting ambiance. It is fully dimmable from 0% to 100% when used with a compatible controller or dimmable LED driver (sold separately).

The strip is compatible with most dimmers using standard control protocols such as ELV, TRIAC, DMX, Dali, 0-10V, and RF. This allows for versatile control options to suit your specific lighting needs.

• To clean the LED strip, gently wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

• Light strip not turning on: Verify that the power supply is correctly connected and functioning. Check all connections between the strip, controller (if used), and power adapter.
• Uneven brightness or flickering: Ensure the power supply is adequate for the length of the strip. Check for loose connections or damaged sections of the strip.
• Adhesive not holding: The installation surface must be thoroughly cleaned and dry before applying the adhesive backing. For long-term or heavy-duty applications, consider using the included fixed clips for additional support.
• Incorrect power calculation: Note that the actual power consumption of the 16.4FT FCOB COB LED strip is affected by voltage drop. For a DC24V 16.4FT 528LEDs/m strip, the actual power is approximately 55W, not the theoretical 14W/m * 5m = 70W. Always consider voltage drop when selecting a power supply.
