Important Safety Information
Your safety is paramount. This Serta heated mattress pad is ETL certified and has been independently tested to meet the highest safety standards. Please adhere to the following guidelines:
- DO NOT leave the controller covered when in use to avoid overheating.
- DO NOT use this heated product on waterbeds, bunk beds, adjustable mechanical beds, or children's cribs and beds.
- DO NOT use with damaged cords or plugs. If the cord or plug is damaged, contact customer support immediately.
- DO NOT use if the mattress pad is wet.
- Always ensure the mattress pad is properly secured to the mattress to prevent shifting.
- Keep pets away from the electrical components to prevent damage.
- Unplug the unit when not in use or before cleaning.

Setup Instructions
- Unpack the Mattress Pad: Carefully remove the heated mattress pad from its packaging.
- Position the Pad: Lay the mattress pad flat on your mattress with the heating elements facing up. Ensure the connector cord is positioned at the head or foot of the bed, away from where you sleep, to avoid discomfort.
- Secure the Pad: The deep elastic pocket is designed to fit mattresses up to 17 inches. Stretch the elasticized skirt over the corners and sides of your mattress for a snug and secure fit.

- For Queen and Larger Sizes: These sizes come with two controllers for dual-zone temperature capability. Connect each controller to its respective side of the mattress pad and plug both into separate outlets if possible, or ensure the power strip can handle the load.

Operating Instructions
- Turn On: Press the power button on the controller to turn on the mattress pad. The LCD display will illuminate.
- Adjust Heat Setting: Use the "+" and "-" buttons to select your desired heat level from 1 to 10. Start with a lower setting and adjust as needed for comfort.
- Set Auto Shut-Off Timer: Use the "Timer" button to set the auto shut-off duration from 1 to 12 hours, in 1-hour increments. The pad will automatically turn off after the selected time.
- Pre-heating: For optimal warmth, turn on the mattress pad 15-30 minutes before getting into bed.
- Turn Off: Press the power button again to turn off the mattress pad. It is recommended to turn off the pad when not in use.

Care and Maintenance
Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your Serta Heated Mattress Pad.
Washing Instructions:
- Disconnect: Always disconnect the power cord and controller(s) from the mattress pad before washing.
- Pre-soak (Optional): For heavily soiled areas, pre-soak the pad in cold water for 15 minutes.
- Machine Wash: Wash by hand or use a delicate cycle in a washing machine with cold water and minimal detergent.
- Rinse: Rinse thoroughly in cold water.
- Spin Cycle: Remove immediately after the spin cycle to prevent creasing.
- DO NOT BLEACH.
Drying Instructions:
- Tumble Dry: Tumble dry on low or medium heat for no more than 5 minutes.
- Air Dry: Remove damp bedding from the dryer, gently stretch, and hang to finish drying.
- DO NOT hang with clothespins, as this can damage the heating wires.
- DO NOT IRON.
- Check Wires: Periodically check and straighten any bent or twisted wires to preserve shape and functionality.
