3. Product Overview

3.1 Front Panel Controls

The front panel of the V8 Live Sound Card features various knobs and buttons for audio adjustment and effects. These include controls for microphone volume, echo, treble, bass, record volume, backing track volume, and monitor volume. Additionally, there are buttons for electroacoustic effects, sound effects, and voice changing functions.

3.2 Rear Panel Connections

The rear panel provides multiple ports for connecting external devices, including charging, live output, backing track input, earphone, headphone, and microphone inputs.

4. Setup

4.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the device, long press the power button located on the top right of the front panel for 3 seconds. The indicator lights will illuminate. To power off, long press the power button again for 3 seconds.

4.2 Charging

Connect the provided charging cable to the 'Charging' port on the rear panel and a suitable USB power source. The battery indicator on the front panel will show the charging status.

4.3 Connecting Microphones and Headphones

  • Connect your dynamic microphone to the 'Dynamic mic' port.
  • Connect your condenser microphone to the 'Condenser mic' port.
  • Connect your headphones to the 'Headphone' port for monitoring audio.
  • Connect your headset to the 'Headset' port if applicable.

4.4 Device Connections

The V8 Live Sound Card supports various connection methods:

  • Mobile Phone Live Broadcast: Use the audio cables to connect your mobile phone to the 'LIVE1' or 'LIVE2' ports.
  • Computer Live Broadcast: Connect the sound card to your computer using the charging cable (USB data cable).
  • Computer Accompaniment Mobile Phone Live Broadcast: Connect the computer for accompaniment audio and the mobile phone for live broadcast.
  • Bluetooth Accompaniment: The sound card can be connected directly to a Bluetooth playback device (e.g., mobile phone or tablet) for accompaniment without additional cables. Press the 'BT' button on the sound card to activate Bluetooth pairing mode (the button will flash). On your device, search for 'FRJ_F998' and connect. Once connected, the 'BT' button will stop flashing.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Adjusting Audio Levels

  • MIC (Microphone Volume): Rotate the 'MIC' knob to adjust the input volume of your microphone.
  • ECHO: Rotate the 'ECHO' knob to control the reverberation effect.
  • TREBLE/BASS: Use the 'TREBLE' and 'BASS' knobs to fine-tune the high and low frequencies of your audio.
  • RECORD: Adjust the 'RECORD' knob to control the recording volume.
  • BACKING TRACK: Use the 'BACKING TRACK' knob to adjust the volume of the accompaniment music.
  • MONITOR: Adjust the 'MONITOR' knob to control the volume of the audio heard through your headphones.

5.2 Sound Effects and Voice Changing

The V8 Live Sound Card offers 112 kinds of electroacoustics, 18 kinds of sound effects, and 6 kinds of power modes. Utilize the dedicated buttons on the front panel to activate these features:

  • Electroacoustics: Press the 'PRO', 'POP', 'MC' buttons to switch between different electroacoustic modes.
  • Sound Effects: Buttons like 'Cheer', 'Din', 'Gunshot', '9277', 'Yell', 'Kiss', 'Laughter', 'Applause', 'Dindin', 'Giggle', 'Slash', 'PUBG' activate various sound effects.
  • Voice Change: The 'Voice Change' button allows you to alter your vocal tone.
  • Special Effects: Buttons such as 'Reverb Delay', 'Voice change', 'Elimination', 'Crack', 'MC', 'Voice Over' provide additional audio manipulation options.
  • MUTE: Press the 'MUTE' button to silence the output.

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Avoid exposing the sound card to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself, as this may void the warranty.
  • Store the sound card in a safe place when not in use to prevent damage.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound Output: Ensure all cables are securely connected, volumes are adjusted correctly, and the device is powered on. Check headphone connections.
  • Microphone Not Working: Verify microphone connection, check microphone volume, and ensure the correct microphone type (dynamic/condenser) is plugged into the appropriate port.
  • Bluetooth Connection Issues: Ensure the sound card's 'BT' button is flashing during pairing. Turn off and on your device's Bluetooth. Ensure no other devices are interfering. Remember Bluetooth is primarily for accompaniment audio input.
  • Distorted Audio: Check all volume levels to ensure they are not too high, which can cause clipping or distortion. Ensure cables are not damaged.
  • Device Not Charging: Verify the charging cable and power source are functional. Ensure the cable is properly inserted into the 'Charging' port.
