Operating Instructions
The NEBO Torchy 2K features a single power button for all operations.
Power On/Off and Mode Cycling (Default):
- Press the power button once to turn the flashlight ON. It will typically start in High mode.
- Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the standard lighting modes: High > Medium > Low.
- After approximately 10 seconds in any mode, a single press of the power button will turn the flashlight OFF. If pressed before 10 seconds, it will cycle to the next mode.
Alternative Mode Cycling (Starting from Low):
To start the flashlight in Low mode and cycle upwards:
- While the flashlight is OFF, press and hold the power button. The flashlight will turn ON in Low mode.
- Release the button. Subsequent presses will cycle through Medium > High.
- After approximately 10 seconds in any mode, a single press of the power button will turn the flashlight OFF.
Activating Turbo Mode (2000 Lumens):
Turbo mode provides maximum brightness for short bursts.
- From any ON mode, press and hold the power button to activate Turbo mode.
- Release the button to return to the previously selected mode.
- Note: Turbo mode is designed for temporary use and may automatically step down in brightness to prevent overheating.
Activating Strobe Mode:
Strobe mode is used for signaling or disorienting.
- From any ON or OFF state, quickly double-press the power button to activate Strobe mode.
- Press the power button once to turn the flashlight OFF.
