Setup

  1. Battery Installation:

  3. Initial Power On:

    Press the "TARE/ON" button to turn on the scale. The display will show "8888" then "0g" (or the last used unit) when ready for use.

Operating Instructions

  1. Turning On/Off:
    • To turn on: Press the "TARE/ON" button.
    • To turn off: Press and hold the "TARE/ON" button for 3 seconds, or the scale will automatically shut off after approximately 60 seconds of inactivity.
  2. Weighing Items:
    • Ensure the scale is on and displays "0g".
    • Place the item(s) to be weighed directly onto the center of the glass platform.
    • Read the weight displayed on the LCD screen.
  3. Unit Conversion:
    • Press the "UNIT" button to cycle through available weighing units (e.g., g, kg, oz, lb). The selected unit will be indicated on the display.
  4. Tare Function (Zeroing):

    The tare function allows you to weigh ingredients in a container by subtracting the container's weight.

    • Place an empty container on the weighing platform. The display will show its weight.
    • Press the "TARE/ON" button. The display will reset to "0g".
    • Add ingredients to the container. The display will now show only the weight of the ingredients.
    • To clear the tare, remove all items from the platform and press "TARE/ON" again if the display does not automatically return to zero.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning:

    Wipe the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water. The glass platform can be carefully removed for separate cleaning if necessary, but avoid excessive force.

  • Storage:

    Store the scale in a cool, dry place. Avoid placing heavy objects on the scale when not in use.

  • Battery Replacement:

    If the display shows a "Lo" indicator, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.
