5. Setup
5.1 Power Connection
- Unpack the clock and power adapter from the packaging.
- Locate the power input port on the back of the clock.
- Connect the power adapter to the clock's power input port.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The clock display should illuminate.
5.2 Wall Mounting
The clock can be mounted on a wall using the keyholes located on the back.
- Choose a suitable location on a wall, ensuring it is near a power outlet.
- Measure the distance between the two keyholes on the back of the clock.
- Mark two corresponding points on the wall.
- Drill holes at the marked points and insert appropriate wall anchors (not included).
- Insert screws into the wall anchors, leaving a small portion of the screw head protruding.
- Align the keyholes on the back of the clock with the screw heads and slide the clock down to secure it.
6. Operating Instructions
The clock features several buttons, typically located on the back or side, for setting time, date, and other functions. Refer to Figure 4.2 for button locations.
6.1 Setting Time and Date
- Press the SET button (or equivalent) to enter setting mode. The first adjustable digit will flash.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons (or equivalent) to adjust the value.
- Press the SET button again to confirm the setting and move to the next adjustable digit or parameter (e.g., hours, minutes, year, month, day).
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all desired settings are configured.
- Exit setting mode by pressing the SET button repeatedly until the display stops flashing, or by waiting for a few seconds for it to exit automatically.
6.2 Adjusting Brightness
The clock's brightness can be adjusted to suit different lighting conditions.
- Locate the BRIGHTNESS button (or a button with a sun icon).
- Press this button repeatedly to cycle through different brightness levels (e.g., high, medium, low, auto).
- Select the desired brightness level.
6.3 Temperature Display
The clock automatically displays the indoor temperature. No manual adjustment is typically required for this function.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
- Before cleaning, disconnect the power adapter from the electrical outlet.
- Wipe the clock's surface with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these may damage the finish.
7.2 Storage
