5. Operating Your PC

Your CyberPowerPC comes pre-installed with Windows 10 Home. Here are some operational notes:

  • RGB Lighting: The system features custom RGB case lighting and RGB fans. Use the dedicated LED button on the top I/O panel or pre-installed software (if available) to cycle through lighting modes or customize colors.
  • Liquid Cooling: The CPU is liquid-cooled for optimal thermal performance. Ensure the system has proper airflow to maintain cooling efficiency.
  • Storage: Your PC includes a 1TB NVMe SSD for fast boot times and application loading, and a 3TB HDD for mass storage. Utilize both drives effectively.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your PC.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the case. For dust accumulation inside, use compressed air periodically, ensuring the system is powered off and unplugged. Do not spray directly into components.
  • Software Updates: Regularly update Windows, graphics drivers (AMD Radeon), and other software to ensure security and performance.
  • Liquid Cooling: The liquid cooling system is generally maintenance-free for its lifespan. However, monitor temperatures using system monitoring software to ensure it's functioning correctly.
  • Storage Management: Periodically clean up unnecessary files and applications. For the HDD, consider defragmentation if performance degrades. SSDs do not require defragmentation.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, refer to these common troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the PC and the wall outlet. Check the power switch on the PSU at the rear of the PC.
  • No Display: Verify that the monitor is connected to the graphics card's output ports (HDMI or DisplayPort) and not the motherboard's ports. Ensure the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source.
  • No Internet Connection: For wired connections, check the Ethernet cable and router. For Wi-Fi, ensure antennas are attached, Wi-Fi is enabled in Windows, and you are connected to the correct network.
  • System Slowdown: Check Task Manager for high CPU, RAM, or disk usage by specific applications. Ensure drivers are updated and perform a malware scan.
  • Overheating: Ensure the PC has adequate ventilation. Clean dust from fans and vents. Monitor temperatures with system utilities.
