- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater or return to authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
- Do not use outdoors.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

- This product is equipped with a Tip-Over Protection switch that automatically shuts off the heater if it is accidentally tipped over.

3. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Sharper Image CERAMIC 3 heater for first use.
- Unpack the Heater: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain the packaging for off-season storage.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there are no obstructions within 3 feet (0.9 m) of the front, sides, and rear of the heater to allow for proper airflow and prevent fire hazards. Do not place the heater on soft surfaces like rugs or carpets that could block the air intake.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a standard 120V AC wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

4. Operating Instructions
The CERAMIC 3 heater features simple touch controls for easy operation.

- Power On/Off: Press the Power button (circle with vertical line) once to turn the heater ON. The red indicator light at the top of the heater will illuminate. Press the Power button again to turn the heater OFF.
- Select Heat Setting: The heater offers two heat settings:
- Press the I button for Low Heat.
- Press the II button for High Heat.
The heater will begin to distribute warmth quickly and evenly into your personal space.
5. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your heater.
- Cleaning: Always unplug the heater before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. The manufacturer recommends Hand Wipe Clean for care.
- Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
- Air Intake/Exhaust: Periodically check the air intake and exhaust vents for dust or debris accumulation. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently clean these areas. Do not attempt to disassemble the heater for cleaning.
