Setup
Initial Placement:
Place the dehumidifier on a level surface in the area where humidity control is desired. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper air circulation.
Assembling Wheels:
The Midea Cube comes with optional casters for easy mobility. To install, simply slide the metal posts of the wheels into the designated grooves on the bottom of the water bucket until they click into place. Use the provided plastic sleeves to secure them if necessary.
Lift and Twist Design:
The unique lift-and-twist design allows you to operate the unit in two forms: extended or nested. For extended capacity, ensure the top unit is fully seated and aligned with the water bucket. For compact storage or continuous drainage, lift the top unit by its handle, twist it 90 degrees, and gently lower it back into the bucket. Ensure the alignment arrows on the unit and bucket are matched for proper seating.
Continuous Drainage Setup:
For continuous operation without manual emptying, connect the included drain hose to the drainage port on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is securely attached and routed downwards to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink) to allow for gravity drainage. For models with a built-in pump, the pump can push water upwards up to 14 feet, offering more flexibility in drainage location.
