Introduction
The LEXON Rio is a versatile portable device combining DAB+ digital radio, FM radio, and a Bluetooth speaker. This manual provides detailed instructions to help you get the most out of your device, Model LA118DB.

Setup
1. What's in the Box

2. Charging the Device
The LEXON Rio is powered by a built-in Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.
- Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the device.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator will illuminate.
- A full charge takes approximately 4 hours. The indicator will change or turn off once charging is complete.
- The device provides approximately 3 hours of autonomy on a full charge.
Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with a circle and a vertical line) until the display illuminates.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power button again until the display turns off.
2. Mode Selection
Press the Mode button to cycle through available modes: DAB+ Radio, FM Radio, and Bluetooth Speaker.
3. DAB+ Radio Operation
- Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal reception.
- Select DAB+ mode using the Mode button.
- The radio will automatically scan for available DAB+ stations upon first use or if no stations are found.
- Use the Next/Previous buttons (often combined with Play/Pause or separate arrows) to navigate through the list of available stations.
- Press the Select/Play button to choose a station.
- To save a station as a preset: While listening to a station, press and hold the Preset button. Use the navigation buttons to select a preset number, then press Select to confirm.
- To recall a preset: Briefly press the Preset button, then use navigation buttons to select the desired preset and press Select.
4. FM Radio Operation
- Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal reception.
- Select FM mode using the Mode button.
- To auto-scan for stations: Press and hold the Play/Pause button or a dedicated scan button. The radio will scan and save available stations.
- To manually tune: Use the Next/Previous buttons to fine-tune the frequency.
- Saving and recalling presets works similarly to DAB+ mode.
5. Bluetooth Speaker Operation
- Select Bluetooth mode using the Mode button. The device will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon or message on the display.
- On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to its Bluetooth settings.
- Search for available devices and select "LEXON Rio" from the list.
- Once paired, the device will confirm the connection, and you can play audio from your connected device through the LEXON Rio speaker.
- The Bluetooth range is approximately 10 meters (33 feet).
6. Volume Control
Use the Volume + and Volume - buttons to adjust the audio output level.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or solvents.
- Water Exposure: This device is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
No Power / Device Not Turning On
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB-C cable and allow it to charge for at least 15 minutes before attempting to power on.
- Check the charging cable and power adapter for damage.
No Sound / Low Volume
- Increase the volume using the Volume + button.
- If in Bluetooth mode, ensure the volume on your connected device is also turned up.
- If in radio mode, try tuning to a different station to check if the issue is station-specific.
Poor Radio Reception (DAB+ or FM)
- Fully extend the telescopic antenna.
- Relocate the device to an area with better signal reception, away from large metal objects, concrete walls, or other electronic devices that may cause interference.
- Perform a new auto-scan for stations.
Bluetooth Not Connecting / Pairing Issues
- Ensure the LEXON Rio is in Bluetooth pairing mode (flashing indicator).
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your source device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
- Ensure the LEXON Rio is within the 10-meter Bluetooth range of your source device.
- Try "forgetting" or "unpairing" the LEXON Rio from your source device's Bluetooth list, then attempt to pair again.
- Turn both devices off and on again.
