1. Introduction

The Moukey MAMP4 is a compact and powerful 2-channel stereo audio amplifier designed for home audio systems. Featuring Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, a headphone jack, and independent bass/treble controls, it delivers high-fidelity sound for passive speakers. 3. Product Overview

3.1 Front Panel

• Power Button: Press to turn the unit ON/OFF.

3.2 Rear Panel

• Bluetooth Antenna Port: Connect the included Bluetooth antenna for optimal wireless signal reception.

4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Moukey MAMP4 amplifier:

1. Connect Speakers: Connect your passive speakers to the 'SPEAKER' terminals on the rear panel. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for both left and right channels. The amplifier supports 4-16Ω speakers.
2. Connect Audio Source (Optional): If using a wired connection, connect your audio source (e.g., TV, computer, CD player) to the 'AUX INPUT' (RCA or 3.5mm) on the rear panel.
3. Attach Bluetooth Antenna: Screw the included Bluetooth antenna into the 'BT ANTENNA' port on the rear panel.
4. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the 'POWER' input on the rear panel, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power ON/OFF

Press the 'Power' button on the front panel to turn the amplifier ON or OFF.

5.2 Input Selection

Press the 'Volume/Input' knob on the front panel to toggle between Bluetooth (Blue LED) and AUX (Red LED) input modes.

5.3 Bluetooth Mode

1. Switch the amplifier to Bluetooth mode (Blue LED).
2. On your Bluetooth device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for 'MAMP4'.
3. Select 'MAMP4' to pair. A beep sound will confirm successful connection (if speakers are connected).

5.4 AUX Mode

Switch the amplifier to AUX mode (Red LED). Audio will be played from the device connected to the AUX input ports.

5.5 Volume, Bass, and Treble Adjustment

• Volume: Rotate the 'Volume/Input' knob clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease.
• Bass: Rotate the 'Bass' knob to adjust low-frequency output.
• Treble: Rotate the 'Treble' knob to adjust high-frequency output.

5.6 Headphone Monitoring

Plug your headphones into the 3.5mm headphone jack on the front panel to listen privately. This function allows you to monitor audio without sound output from the main speakers.

5.7 Remote Control Operation

The included infrared remote control allows for convenient adjustment of volume, mute, and input mode from a distance. (Note: The remote cannot control external equipment volume or select songs in AUX mode.)

6. Maintenance

• Keep the amplifier in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
• Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
• Ensure proper ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating.
• Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the amplifier.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Moukey MAMP4 amplifier, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Q: Bluetooth cannot connect or is unstable.

A:

1. Ensure Bluetooth mode is activated on the amplifier (Blue LED). Press the Volume/Input knob to switch if necessary.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your input device (e.g., mobile phone) and search for 'MAMP4'. Click to connect. A beep indicates a successful connection.
3. Ensure there are no obstacles (especially metal objects) blocking the Bluetooth signal.
4. Turn off the amplifier, disconnect and clear the connection on your Bluetooth transmitting device, then try to reconnect.

Q: Can I connect two devices via Bluetooth simultaneously?

A: No, the amplifier supports only one Bluetooth connection at a time. Connecting two devices will disrupt the audio stream. Disconnect one device before connecting another.

Q: How do I connect to a Bluetooth speaker?

A: The Moukey MAMP4 is a Bluetooth receiver, not a transmitter. It is designed to connect to passive speakers, not other Bluetooth speakers. Bluetooth speakers already have their own amplifiers, and connecting them to another amplifier may cause damage.

Q: The amplifier's Bluetooth range is insufficient, how can I connect an external Bluetooth receiver?

A: You can connect an external Bluetooth receiver to the amplifier's AUX input (3.5mm or RCA ports). Ensure the output end of your external Bluetooth receiver is connected to the correct input port on the amplifier. Use appropriate port interface converters if needed.

Q: Volume resets or is too loud upon power on.

A: The amplifier may reset its volume to a default level upon power cycling or switching input modes. Always ensure the volume is at a low setting before powering on or switching inputs to avoid sudden loud sounds.
