Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the unit on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 5 inches of clearance around the sides and back for proper ventilation. Avoid placing near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, it is recommended to clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the "Maintenance and Cleaning" section for detailed instructions.
4. Power Connection: Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.
5. Add Water:
   • Manual Fill: Open the top lid and pour potable water directly into the 3.2-liter water tank until it reaches the MAX fill line.
   • External Bottle: If using an external water bottle (not included), place a water bottle with a diameter less than 2 inches onto the designated water inlet on top of the machine. Ensure the bottle is securely seated.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the "ON/OFF" button on the control panel to turn on the ice maker. The machine will begin the ice-making cycle automatically.
2. Adjust Ice Thickness: Use the "+" and "-" buttons on the control panel to adjust the thickness of the ice cubes.
   • Thin: Approximately 10 minutes per cycle.
   • Medium: Approximately 15 minutes per cycle.
   • Thick: Approximately 20 minutes per cycle.

3. Ice Production: The machine will produce 24 crystal clear ice cubes per cycle, typically every 12 to 18 minutes, depending on the selected thickness and ambient temperature.
4. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the "Ice Full" indicator on the LCD display will illuminate, and the machine will pause ice production. Remove ice from the basket to resume operation.
5. Add Water Indicator: If the water level in the tank is too low, the "Add Water" indicator will light up, prompting you to refill the water tank.
6. Timer Function: To set a delayed start for ice production, press the "TIMER" button once and then use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired reservation time (up to 8 hours).

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential to maintain the hygiene and efficiency of your ice maker. Please clean your ice machine regularly.

Automatic Self-Cleaning Function:

1. Ensure the ice maker is empty of ice and water.
2. Add clean water to the water tank up to the MAX fill line.
3. Press and hold the "TIMER/CLEAN" button for more than 5 seconds to activate the automatic cleaning function. The cleaning cycle will run for approximately 30 minutes.
4. After the cleaning cycle is complete, drain the water from the machine by unplugging the drain plug located at the bottom right corner.
5. Rinse the interior with fresh water and drain again.

Manual Cleaning (Recommended for thorough cleaning):

1. Drain the Machine: Unplug the ice maker. Locate the drain plug at the bottom right corner of the unit and remove it to completely drain all water.
2. Prepare Cleaning Solution: Mix a small amount of mild dish soap or a nickel-safe ice machine cleaner with water. Alternatively, a diluted cleaning vinegar solution can be used. Use approximately two cups (16 oz) of liquid total (water + cleaner).
3. Clean Surfaces: Pour the cleaning solution into the rear reservoir. Using a clean, soft sponge, cloth, or bottle brush, carefully clean all accessible internal surfaces, including the ice basket area and the chiller grid. Do not use abrasive materials as they can scratch the plastic.
4. Run Self-Clean Cycle: Plug the machine back in. Run the automatic self-clean cycle (press and hold "TIMER/CLEAN" for 5 seconds). This will circulate the cleaning solution over the chiller grid and through the system.
5. Drain Again: Once the self-clean cycle is finished, unplug the machine and completely drain the cleaning solution.
6. Rinse Thoroughly: Thoroughly rinse the chiller grid and front basin with fresh water. You can use a spray attachment from your sink faucet or a spray bottle for this.
7. Flush System: With the drain plug still open, fill the rear reservoir completely with fresh water and allow it to drain out completely. This flushes any residual cleaner from the reservoir and internal tubing. Repeat this step if necessary.
8. Clean Spray Bar: The spray bar at the top can be carefully lifted out of its brackets without disconnecting the tubing to wipe under and around the area. Replace it securely after cleaning.
9. Dry: Allow the interior to air dry completely before storing or resuming ice production.
