4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Headset

  1. Locate the USB charging port on the headset.
  2. Connect one end of the provided USB cable to the headset's charging port.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  4. The LED indicator on the headset will illuminate during charging and typically turn off or change color once fully charged.

Note: A full charge typically takes approximately 1-2 hours. Avoid overcharging to prolong battery life.

4.2. Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually labeled "ON/OFF") for a few seconds until the LED indicator lights up and you hear an audible prompt.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again for a few seconds until the LED indicator turns off and you hear an audible prompt.

4.3. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the headset is fully charged and powered on.
  2. The headset will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light (e.g., blue and red alternating).
  3. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
  4. Enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  5. Select "A-b05" or "Altomex A-b05" from the list of found devices.
  6. Once paired, the LED indicator will typically stop flashing and remain solid blue, and you may hear a confirmation tone.
  7. If prompted for a password, enter "0000" (four zeros).

Note: The headset will attempt to reconnect to the last paired device automatically when powered on.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button (often marked with a triangle/two vertical bars).
  • Next Track: Press the "Next Track" button (often marked with >>| or V+ for a short press).
  • Previous Track: Press the "Previous Track" button (often marked with |<< or V- for a short press).
  • Volume Up: Press and hold the "Volume Up" button (often marked V+).
  • Volume Down: Press and hold the "Volume Down" button (often marked V-).

5.2. Call Management

  • Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause/Call button once when an incoming call rings.
  • End Call: Press the Play/Pause/Call button once during a call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause/Call button for a few seconds when an incoming call rings.
  • Redial Last Number: Double-press the Play/Pause/Call button.

5.3. Mode Switching (Bluetooth, FM, SD Card, AUX)

Press the "MODE" button to cycle through the available modes:

  1. Bluetooth Mode: For wireless audio streaming from your paired device.
  2. FM Radio Mode: To listen to FM radio stations. In this mode, use the "Next Track" and "Previous Track" buttons to scan for stations.
  3. SD Card Mode: Insert a mini SD card (up to 32GB) with MP3, WMA, or WAV files. The headset will automatically play music from the card.
  4. AUX Mode: Connect an audio device using a 3.5mm audio cable to the P2 auxiliary input. This mode allows wired listening even if the headset battery is depleted.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headset. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: Charge the headset regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Water Exposure: While sweat-resistant, avoid submerging the headset in water or exposing it to heavy rain.

7. Troubleshooting
