3. Setup

Battery Installation:

The monitor requires two AAA batteries for operation. Ensure correct polarity when inserting the batteries.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
  2. Insert two AAA batteries, matching the (+) and (-) terminals as indicated inside the compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Initial Settings (Date/Time):

Before your first measurement, it is recommended to set the correct date and time for accurate record-keeping.

  1. With the device off, press the 'SET' button to enter setting mode.
  2. The year will begin to flash. Use the 'MEM' button to adjust the year, then press 'SET' to confirm.
  3. Repeat this process for month, day, hour, and minute.
  4. After setting the time, the device will automatically exit setting mode.

Correct Way of Measurement:

Proper positioning is crucial for accurate blood pressure readings. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Wear & Adjust: Adjust the cuff and wrap it around your left wrist with your palm facing up. The cuff length is approximately 5.31”–7.68”.
  2. Keep 1-finger Distance: Ensure there is about 1-2 cm distance between the top of the machine and your hand.
  3. Start to Measuring: Sit up straight and relax for at least 5 minutes before measurement. Keep the wrist cuff at your heart level during the measurement.

Taking a Measurement:

Once positioned correctly, taking a measurement is simple:

  1. Press the 'START/STOP' button. The cuff will begin to inflate automatically.
  2. Remain still and silent during the measurement.
  3. Once the measurement is complete (typically less than 1 minute), your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed on the LCD.
  4. The device will automatically store the reading and shut off after a period of inactivity.

The monitor supports two users and stores up to 99 readings for each user, totaling 198 readings with date and time stamps.

Irregular Heartbeat Indicator:

6. Maintenance

Cleaning:

To clean the monitor, use a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild detergent and then wipe dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.

Storage:

Store the monitor in its provided carrying case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.
