Setup Instructions
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging.
- Assemble Solar Panel Stake: Attach the ground stake to the back of the solar panel unit. Ensure it is securely fastened. The stake allows for adjustable angle positioning.
- Connect Rope Lights: Locate the connector on the end of the rope lights and the corresponding port on the solar panel unit. Align and firmly push the connector into the port. Twist the securing ring to ensure a waterproof seal.
- Initial Charging: Before first use, place the solar panel in direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours to allow the internal battery to fully charge. The lights will not illuminate during daylight hours as the solar panel is designed to charge during the day and activate at night. To test during the day, cover the solar panel completely to simulate darkness.
- Positioning: Choose a location for the solar panel that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day. The rope lights can then be arranged as desired for decoration.

Operating Instructions
The GLPE Solar String Lights are designed for automatic operation. They will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn, provided the solar panel receives sufficient sunlight during the day to charge the battery.
Using the Remote Control:
The included remote control provides additional functionality for customizing your lighting experience. Ensure the plastic battery tab is removed from the remote before first use.
- Power On/Off: Use the ON and OFF buttons to manually control the lights.
- Lighting Modes: Cycle through the 8 available lighting modes using the MODE button or the numbered buttons (1-8) on the remote. Modes include combinations of steady, flashing, fading, and sequential effects.
- Timer Function: Set the lights to automatically turn off after a set period using the timer buttons (e.g., 4H, 6H, 8H).
- Brightness Adjustment: Adjust the brightness level using the DIM and BRIGHT buttons.

Maintenance
- Solar Panel Cleaning: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean panel ensures optimal sunlight absorption and charging efficiency.
- Battery Care: The solar panel contains a rechargeable AA battery. While designed for longevity, if the lights' performance significantly degrades over time, the battery may need replacement. Refer to the specifications for battery type.
- Waterproof Integrity: The lights and solar panel are IP67 waterproof. Ensure all connections are tight and secure to maintain water resistance, especially after assembly or adjustments.
- Seasonal Storage: If storing the lights for an extended period, fully charge the solar panel, then turn off the unit. Store in a cool, dry place.
